I ate here last night with my boyfriend, and neither of us knows very much about French food. But we tried to be adventurous. We had the pate and the lobster bisque for appetizers, and I have to say, they were both very good. Especially the soup. But as for the service, first of all, the server never once cracked a smile. But I have worked in a restaurant, and I know it's not always easy, so I can forgive that. What I cannot forgive, however, is that when the girl brought us our appetizers, I asked, Excuse me, do you eat the pate plain or put it on something? And she said, very snooty-like, No, you eat it with bread. And she actually gave me a look as if I was the stupidest person in the world. I wanted to say I'm sorry, but I'm not from this country, or from France, and I wanted to eat here to discover something, food or culture that I did not know about, and I don't appreciate being insulted. Then with the meal, we ordered French fries, because we wanted to see if they are different from American fries, and when they came, we asked the same girl for some kechup. And I could not believe what she did. She actually rolled her eyes and when she turned to go get it, my boyfriend heard her say ""Oh my God"". And it's really too bad, because the food was quite good. We had the lamb and the salmon and we both loved everything, but we will not go back there if we have to be insulted to eat the food.
Pros: good food
Cons: snobby service
