We called Pete's Carpet Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration when our plumber recommended them after our water heater broke in the attic and had leaked for about two days, when we were in Galveston on vacation! I can just say we were lucky in wasn't a week, as that was how long we were gone. Pete and a full crew, were at our home 30 minutes after we called him. He was a true professional, and knew exactly what to do to fix all the problems. He knew our Farmers Insurance adjuster and that really made things go smoothly. Farmers was Fantastic by the way too, and Pete's Restoration did an amazing job at getting our home totally dry in three days. On day four, they started the repairs and by day 7 we had new carpet, new ceilings and walls, new doors and mouldings, and new paint and kitchen cabinets. Our home looks BETTER than it did the day we moved in and we can't thank Pete and his crew enough for all their hard work, and for making us feel cared for in such a difficult disaster. They not only were very knowledgeable, but were the only company that gave us a substantial discount on our insurance deductible, and also gave us some nice upgrades at no extra fee. The really went the extra mile to do a fantastic job, and saved us over $2000.00. After they dried out our home, and replaced all the doors, door frames, moulding, cabinets, painted, and had the new carpet installed, they cleaned our furniture and wool rugs. We thought the furniture was new, that's how good of a job they did at cleaning it. And our expensive wool rugs look so bright, feel so soft, and smell so good. We had Pete's Carpet Cleaning and Restoration out after a small fire in our kitchen last week. We had Pete out himself, and State Farm Insurance ( they were awesome too) out for the initial assessment the morning after the fire, and we were told by state farm adjuster we could have called someone the night before to start the cleanup. I think that is important for everyone to know, you don't wait for the agent to open and call back, or wait for an adjuster to show up, you have coverage, and that coverage states you should call for help immediately after a fire or water damage. I hope there is never a ""next time"", but if there is I'll call Pete's Carpet Cleaning and Restoration immediately. We had two estimates, Pete was the same as the second, but they had a Major Insurance Discount for the carrier (State Farm) and a deductible discount for us, which saved everyone some money. Pete and his crew did an amazing job, and you really would never know we had a fire here 10 days ago. The kitchen looks better than it did when we bought the home, and the place smells great. I don't know how they did it, but they are the EXPERTS, as they say!
