Flowers that get delivered are sometimes brown and limp. On top of their cheap-looking bouquets, when I called to complain, the owner talked so much that I could barely get a word in edgewise. She needs to take a course in customer service. You can get the same flowers for 1/4 of the price from Shop Rite.\r I work for a large company that have used Peters for the past 10+ years. After speaking to others within the company, we have decided NOT to use Peter's Florist in the future. They have gone "down hill" that's for sure. more

Incompetent...and rude! 1/11/2012

I ordered $100 flower arrangement for a funeral. The flowers never arrived for the afternoon showing. This is after Peters guaranteed they would. Peters never apologized and refused to give me a full credit. Instead only offering a paltry 25% off - and that's only after I requested a credit. \r \r The woman (manager?) is rude and wound up hanging up on me.\r \r Stay away! more

Horrible! 10/12/2011

I ordered flowers for my friends birthday which was supposed to be a surprise because we haven't seen each other for a while. I was busy doing something at that time so I asked them to give me one of their best flowers and that I was willing to pay $50 for it. They ended up giving her a pitiful set of flowers, that I had to apologize to her for giving her that kind of gift on our reunion. It was awful. more

Worst flower shop in Ramsey New Jersey 9/9/2010

Horrible - I would not use again ever! The sympathy flowers I had sent (which cost a fortune!) were the cheapest looking things ever!! I went to the funeral and was embarrassed by what I saw I had sent! \r \r I called the shop to complain and the woman who answered was the rudest person I ever dealt with! All I have to say is never use this place unless you like being embarrassed! more

Not Satisfied - Very frustrated with Peters 5/9/2010

I will not use Peters again - some time back, I ordered flowers for a local funeral and spent a good amount of money. The arrangement was embarrasing for the amount of money spent. I called them up and they gave me 15% off - at least that was some sort of effort on their part (i didnt write a review even though i still was not satisfied). On Mothers day, i decided to give them another chance because i usually prefer to support locally/family owned shops as opposed to big corporations. I called and asked for a Friday or Sat delivery. I was ensured they would be there in time for Sunday Mothers day. Sure enough, Sunday comes, and Still no flowers. I called them on Sunday and i received RUDE customer service with no apologies, only excuses. I will not be giving them a third chance - what a shame, now i will be going with a large flower chain that guarantees delivery, quality, and has an adequate level of customer service. If Peters reads this review, i hope they dont get defensiv more

Really Like this Shop 11/18/2005

First of all this store is major league convenient for me and off the highway with it's own parking lot.Next it is just a delight to walk in this shop and wander around, it isn't large but there is something in every corner you would be hard pressed not to be able to find a nice dinner gift for someone here if not a beautiful flower arrangement. more

Gift Store-Very Good 11/18/2005

This florist sells a large selection of gifts in addition to a beautiful selection of fresh flowers. They carry gifts for every occasion and are priced fairly. They also carry a large selection of Anna Lee Dolls for those who are collectors. They offer a cash-and-carry sale on Fridays. You can purchase a fine assortment of flowers, pay cash and receive the sale price. more

Peter's Flowers 8/23/2005

I visited Peter's Flowers and Gifts during my seemingly endless hunt for a wedding florist. Peter's is located off of Franklin Turnpike, which is a busy street--so be aware when you pull in and out of their driveway. When I entered, I immediately noticed the fresh smell of plants and flowers. The staff is friendly and there are eye-catching gifts arranged around the store, such as picture frames and photo albums. I liked their gourmet sweets and gifts as well--it's great to visit a florist that has lovely flowers AND unique gifts for you to purchase on site. I moved to the back of the store to speak with the events coordinator. This is a cubicle-style area big enough to seat you and your guest as you discuss possible arrangement ideas. The florist was very helpful and educated me about different sorts of plants that would work together. In fact, after visiting several other area florists, Peter's was the only one that actually brought out the live flowers for me to see and then gav more
