petco modesto nice place 2/8/2008

the petco modesto is a great place to shop not a huge selection though compared to some other newer petcos this is a older one and they just don't have the room for the normal petco selection as with any petco the prices are not the best if you wanted better prices check out petsmart or tropical haven in modesto ,there fish are always healthy i have never had a problem with that, the small animals are always healthy and ready to go without a problem and reptile area is very clean compared to a lot of other places, and the staff for the most part is knowledgeable, the management of this store does a excellent job in keeping the place clean and stocked compared to some of the others i have seen down south the management is also very friendly and helpful unlike the one in riverbank who is always in a bad mood and on a warpath more

Nice grroming place 7/31/2005

This location does a fairly good job of grroming animals. We take our dog their fairly often. The groomer is not a very friendly lady though. She does do a good job. more

Great selection of products for various animals 5/27/2005

I enjoy going to Petco. They've got a great selection of products and a knowledgable sales staff. Makes for a fun trip. Seeing the animals is always fun for the kids. more
