What a great place! 6/2/2007

This store is absolutely amazing! All of the associates have all the information you could possibly want to know about any time of animal. If they do not know the answer they can get somebody that does. All of their animals seemed very nice and happy in their habitat, very well fed, and had lots of space and room to run around. They had a great selection of saltwater fish.\r \r \r Overall a great experience! more

friendly staff, great for grooming needs 8/8/2005

I have a friendly, large dog and one of her favorite things to do is to go shopping at Petco with me, often more to meet the other dogs and people in the store than to pick out treats. We have had consistantly good experiences at Petco- the staff there seem to really enjoy having pets in the store, and it is nice that I can let me dog sniff out the treats of her choosing. I also take her to PetCo to have her nails trimmed. They do a good job, but please note that they need verification from your vet about current vaccines before you are eligible for Petco grooming services. more

Great for supplies - but not pets 7/4/2005

I say not great for pets, look at how the rabbits and chinchillas are caged, in an aquarium. They require better ventillation. The animals panting is an indication they are too hot. I would not purchase a pet from here because you do not know the history of the animal. The animals don't get the proper care. I believe I read that this is a store-wide problem. This is a great place to purchase supplies only. Although some items are pricey, but the majority are in line with other pet stores. PROS: CONS: Furry animals not properly cared for more

Very helpful 6/3/2005

We recently bought our son a gerbil here and they were very helpful through out the whole process. They helped us decide which small animal would be best for our family, helped us pick out everything we needed for the animal, and they also answered all questions and concerns that we had. We have very healthy and happy gerbils because of that extra help. more

this place is great you can bring your pet in with you and this place carries everything from food to toys and the pets to play with them. i definately like coming in here verses a lot of the other pet shops that can really jack up their prices. more

This place carries it all, we bought our kids hamster here and they carry all the accessories as well. It is also nice that you can bring your pets as well! more
