I went in just the other day to buy crickets, and I noticed a lizard I had never seen before. When I asked one associate they were very knowledgeable about almost every aspect, from diet, to care, right up to what the individual animals' personality was like.\r \r I decided to buy the fire skink and the same associate helped me hand pick all the items I needed, NOT just the most expensive stuff, either.\r \r I've never heard good things about the grooming saloon they have there, though.\r \r In general, they're a little understaffed, but they're actually quite smart about their animals. more

Far below expectations 10/25/2008

Severely understaffed and the staff they DO have knows very little about proper animal care. My aunt was told by a manager that rabbits have a life expectancy of 5 years and was instructed to get a cage that was about half the size that any rabbit should live in. more

never again 3/6/2006

AWFUL job\r \r \r i took my old english sheepdog for gromming and when they told me to pick him up - he was still soaked! his paws were still dripping wet. then ispoke to the manager, and she offered a feee grooming so i could be sastified.. but this time, the groomer nearly shaved him when i asked her not so she couldnt save the mats from the previous grooming job. i bursted in tears when isaw my dog nearly naked. please take your dog to a professional grooming place, not at a chain. PROS: 2 stars - shampoo smelled nice CONS: need to say more? more

Good for supplies 6/17/2005

I frequently purchase my cat food and fish food from this store. There is a huge variety of different types of foods available. They also have a "bonus card" which they offer sales on. more

animal abuse 6/2/2005

i would not ever reccommend this store. During the time I was browsing I had seen tanks full of dead fish in massivly overcrowded tanks, a very sickly looking turtle, too many birds in one cage and an overabundance of mice in one single tank. This is obviously abuse and I would never step foot in the store again. more
