I came in to buy a mouse for my snake. When I walked in, there were 4 people standing up at the registers one which looked to be a manager. I walked up to them and not one of them...

I came in to buy a mouse for my snake. When I walked in, there were 4 people standing up at the registers one which looked to be a manager. I walked up to them and not one of them acknowledged I was there. I finally asked, "Can I get a feeder mouse?" They all stopped their conversation and looked at me like the unpopular kid in school trying to include themself on what's going on. The two that had their backs to me did not even turn around, they both just turned their heads. One of them (assuming the manager) asked one of the girls to go help me. She told me she would be right there. So I walked over there and waited at LEAST 5 minutes for her to come. I understand if she was busy, but when I had come in it did not look like she was busy at all. So she slumpped over to me and opened the cage. She was trying to catch one and she said "Oh, that one is too cute, you can't have a cute one." Seriously? Do you think I really care? I'm feeding it to a snake and chances are that particular one more

Petco is horrible never go there 12/19/2009

I bought a bearded dragon at that exact store and a few days after their 15 day guarantee was up he got sick and we took him to the vet and the vet said he had internal parasites and a few others from this same store had died in the last few months from that. Later he died. I took him to the store and told the old depressed looking manger that i knew it was past the guarantee but we were looking for something from him because we would not be able to tell if it had parasites in 15 days . He denied the others dying from his store and gave us a rude NO. We told him that we would not be using petco anymore and he did not seem to care one bit. So i will now happily be using PetsMart. I want to give this store NO stars but i have to. more

Petco store is good BUT stay away from grooming dpt ! 7/9/2009

Petco it's a good store; actually is the store where i have found a certain dog food after searching and browsing different pet stores.But the grooming salon attached to Petco store: STAY AWAY ! I took my dog in, tried to tell them what I want, they will not listen, because they think they know better.The hair was not done as I wished, they did as they wanted.I had to take the scissors at home and adjust my dog's hair, not to mention that they clipped his nail so bad that he was bleeding when i went to take him home from there.Of course I was upset ! Instead of giving an apology they acted angry saying that this ( clipping a dog nail to bleeding ) happens very often especially when the nail is black !! How comforting to hear this, right ? !! Poor dog, it's very painful !!!And anyway, when the customer says" I only want HAIR CUT for my dog why they don't listen and follow customer instructions ????Very disappointed, NEVER go back there !( Petco grooming on MCDermott Dr # 309,Allen) more

Ok place to shop 4/7/2005

Petco is an ok place to shop. I go buy crickets there but that is about it. If you need help other than Fish/Reptiles. Forget it. You have to go to the front for them to page someone, then they don't really know how to help you. They are not trained correctly on all products in store. They sometimes will tell you, they don't know they do not work in that department. Well there is noone working in the department so they should be trained on the products. more
