I absolutely love this pet store! I drive past 5 other pet stores, 2 of which are 10 minutes from home, and drive 45 minutes to the pet stop. The selection along with pricing is excellent! The staff has yet been unable to answer any question I have thrown at them. Other reviews have stated that there is an odor in the store...IT IS A PET STORE! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?? In my opinion, all other pet stores are non-existant, and I will continue to give my business and hard earned money to The Pet Stop, as well as refer everyone to them. Great job guys...seen ya soon! more

I actually like this store a lot! I've got finches at home and they've got the best selection of bird supplies at the best prices of anywhere I've seen. They also have more types of finches to look at than other stores, which almost invariably only carry zebra finches, society finches, and spice finches. As much as I love those kinds of finches (they comprise the majority of those in my cage) they are still a bit ""dime a dozen"". It's nice to see other varieties like gouldians, cordon bleus, and owl finches! more

I have purchased 2 dogs from Pet Stop over the last 6 years. Both dogs are healthy and great additions to our family. When we bought our last dog, they gave us the toy teddy bear that he had been sleeping with, it has been over a year and he still plays with that bear. more

This is the coolest pet store ever!! people talking about how it smells,,,really, it a pet store, they don't sell roses. An the monkey, well have you ever seen the lady that takes care of him? They have the best time together. The monkey really loves her. Not sure why people want to trash talk this store cuz it really is the best store in kc. more

Great Grooming 12/3/2011

I was in the store to buy dog food and found out that they do dog grooming also. I decided to try it and see how my shih tzu and poodle did. I was quite surprised at all the detail questions the groomer asked me. It was if she really wanted to get the look exactly the way I wanted, and she did. My dogs looked great and they seemed to have enjoyed the experience. The price was reasonable which helped. I will be bringing my dogs back. So if you are looking for a great groomer then Pet Stop is the place to go. Pros: null Cons: null more

FACTS 2/28/2011

Pet Stop gives a TEN year warrenty with ALL puppies. They are NOT puppy mill puppies. All of the animals are very well taken care of. They have been in business since 1976, you dont stay in business that long if you dont take care of the animals. If anyone has ever had a problem with an animal they need to contact Pet Stop an they would take care of any problem. The owners of this store have closed down 29 puppy mills. FACT. Its a great store where kids can hold all the animals. Its the best store in the area. more
