Pet Paradise

i went to a ""nice little pet shop on virginia beach blvd"" my friends suggestd after hereing about my trial with marions pet world. the prices are good the staff are knoweldgeable about their animals and the place is deal friendly. i went to pick up crickets for my beardie and they gave me a good deal on some roaches as well.\r the only problem i have with them is the as is selection if its broke or close to broke let us know dont mark it as ""as is"" and sell to people on high hopes. at least lthe the customers know whats wrong with it.\r \r i think if they got a bigger store more staff they would make more money. i think the crowded convienant store look is pushing people away. more

They have a ton of birds and when you go in the reptile room they have stacks and stacks of tupperware containers filled with snakes. Not a very clean place either. more

This has got to be one of the best pet stores around. They we're so helpful in telling me everything I needed to know to care for my Rabbit. They made sure it would be taken care of. They we're very friendly. They have really good deals on their supplies, I saved alot here. They even cut nails for free!! Even if you don't buy your pet there! Very highly recommended!! Pros: Huge selection, very knowledgeable, animals well taken care of Cons: I guess they could dust shelves a little more.. more

Pet Paradise is a family friendly shop where we always feel welcome. The variety can't be beaten. I have purchased several reptiles and small mammals from them with only good experiences. The staff has always been available long after the purchase for questions or just to share the joy of being a pet parent. If you are looking for a bird, this is the place to go. You can see first hand what it means to be raised by hand. Babies from a few weeks old are handled and raised right in the store. The birds are sweet and tame. They learn young how to step up and be loving. Again, I stress the variety available. Fish, reptiles, arachnids, small mammals, birds. Follow the yellow brick road and here you will find the Wizards of Paws. Pros: Great staff pool of experts. huge variety Cons: Very few kittens and not really any puppies. more
