Pet Pals Grooming Ctr

Effective 9/8/2013 Pet Pals is very much open! I have been coming regularly since I relocated to the Metrowest area almost 2 years ago. Kathy (sp?) is wonderful and has on certain occasions taken my Shih-tzu on a Sunday. She has set me straight on a few things as I am a relatively new pet owner. My pet and I have always been treated with respect and kindness. Rates are the best in town and even my mother approves of D.O.G.'s hair cuts! \r more

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pet Pals. They have always groomed our family's dogs and always will. Very fast, good work, but also all of our pets have really loved going. They get so excited to see Kathy every time they walk through the door! My grandparents started going to Pet Pals when my Mom was in high school. Mom and Dad always took our dog Betsy there, and now my husband brings Snow White there every month on his way to work. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer. My dog was dropped off at 9:30am for a grooming and sat in a crate all day until 4:30. She hadn't been taken out to go to the bathroom or had water all day! When I arrived there to pick her up, the owner hadn't even started on her! She then informed me that there had been a pet in the center that had fleas that day! No one called us to let us know that our dog wasn't going to be taken for 8 hours and was going to need to sit in a crate without being cared for all day. We will NEVER return here and I don't reccomend anyone give them their business. We reccomended them to a neighbor once and she had a terrible experience there as well. We will NEVER EVER put our poor dog through that again! Cons: Pet abuse! more

My dog has been groomed at Pet Pals for 5 years. He is large and has lots of long hair. The male groomer takes charge of him and does the best job ever. My dog looks great and like he lost 10 pounds afterwards -- all fur, of course. Plus, my dog likes the place. He doesn't particularly like being groomed, but the people there are the best. And if Dog Breath shows up with mats and covered in seed pods after romping through a forest for a week, no one bats an eye. This place does a great job for a reasonable price and I am very pleased to take my dog there. Pros: Friendly, excellent grooming, easy to find, reasonably priced Cons: Not even one more

I am a customer for life. This is a small mom & pop grooming salon with friendly and competent people that genuinely love the animals and love what they do. They do an excellent job of grooming my type of dog - a shih tzu - and from what I have seen do excellent work with all other breeds large and small. There are 3 different groomers (2 women, 1 man) and both women are excellent.\r \r I had taken my dog elsewhere before and paid alot of money for a bad haircut. One day I saw a dog that was groomed exactly the way I wanted my dog to look and was referred to Pet Pals from that dog's owner. I am hooked. I love the way my dog looks now. He receives great cuts at reasonable prices (cash only). It's much less expensive than the large chain pet stores and other groomers with much better quality of work. This was a refreshing experience. On my second visit my dog actually remembered the groomer and was excited to stay They were fast, inexpensive, and it was honestly the best grooming buddy has ever had. Worst experience I have ever had. One side of my dog's beard was 1"" longer than the other side. Hair was not cut evenly. Had to groom the dog myself when i got home. more
