I can't say enough GREAT things about Personal Touch Engraving! I was having a major ""engraving emergency"", I needed to have my gift engraved for my father in law's 60th birthday, and I needed it fast! The ladies at Personal Touch were awesome, they helped me decide on the perfect wording and got me out the door the same day! It was amazing. The engraved compass in its beautful case, came out perfect! My father in law loved it!! When I was looking for a place to make two award plaques for a national watershed research conference, a friend suggested Personal Touch. My embarrassing problem was that it was a Wednesday afternoon and the conference on watersheds began on Sunday. I was certain that I would have to pay double for a rush job. But from the moment I walked into the engraving house I was greeted by Mary, the very friendly manager who treated me like a long lost friend. She took me on a tour of wall displays and I decided on black marble with silver lettering. When Mary asked when I needed the job I gulped and told her ?by Saturday. The conference is on Sunday.? Somehow, she wasn?t surprised; perhaps she was accustomed to clients coming in wanting jobs done ?yesterday.? She opened her price catalog and quoted me a most reasonable price, not a penny more for the rush job. She said to come in Friday at noon and I would be able to pick up my plaques. \r \r When I arrived at the store on Friday, I was astounded by the professionalism of the plaques. She had used special type and had perfectly placed a picture of Longs Peak, viewable from the conference location, at the top of the engraved area. I rushed home to show them to my wife. She caught an error immediately. The word ?watersheds? was singular instead of plural. I quickly pulled out my original copy and discovered that the mistake was my fault, not that of Personal Touch! I rushed back and asked if it was possible that Mary could add an ?s? on the end of watershed? Mary said that it would be easier to redo the job and if I would come back at 6 pm I would have them back, corrected. I have never had such amazing service and professionalism, all at such a reasonable price. Awesome! You deserve ten stars for the way you treat your customers. I have been to 3 different engravers and 2 of them of which made costly mistakes than after their mishaps recomended the Personal Touch in Lakewood for my engraving. The 3rd one didn't even try to engrave my item and told me the same as the others to go to the Personal Touch. I don't want to bad mouth any other engravers but lets just say Things arn't so Remembered if they are not done correctly (wink wink). I do not live close to the store but made the costly drive down there and it was amazing!!! Great atmosphere, very customer friendly workers and extreamly proffesional! Since my experince I have not gone any were else as the Personal Touch have done rush orders for me and absolutly no loss in quality as I do have very very high costly items.\r \r Highly Recomended! When you have a special occasion and need a personalized gift, check out Personal Touch. I got a birthday gift for a friend, a baby gift engraved for my niece and a special award done for a couple of high achievers in our comapny. When my son graduates, I'll be going to Personal Touch to get him a special gift as well. Each time I come in, they are caring and friendly and seemed to always want to go out of thier way to help. I appreciate small businesses that work hard to please and I will always try to go there for thier professional skills when I need engraving done of any kind. The service is really good. You just need to tell them the occasion you are planning for, and they will make appropriate recommendations (even if they don't have the items in the store, they can tell you where to get it).
