I don't know how anybody could give Jerry and his crew less than 5 stars. They specialize in high-end work, and are the hands-down choice of Gossett Porsche and Pat Williams' Porsche shop. So, they may be expensive -- I don't know, I've never taken my car anywhere else, but it wouldn't surprise me if they cost more than the average shop. But you get what you pay for. Shop owner Jerry Palmer has one heck of an eye for paintwork and by the time he was done respraying and touching up the driver's side of my classic 911, the car looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. The color match -- 20 year old Grand Prix White -- was absolutely perfect and the blending of old and new was invisible. These guys do complete body-off restorations of high-dollar classic cars from Corvette to Porsche 356 to Jaguar XKE; there's really nothing they can't do. If you still doubt, go look at the photos Jerry has plastered all over his office wall, you'll be impressed with his work. And the whole shop is friendly and they stand by their work. The couple of times me or a friend has had to bring a car back for any reason, they get right on tweaking whatever the issue was. Want cheap? Go get a Bebrick Wednesday Special that will peel in a month. If you have a car worth pampering and want a car show quality paint job, this is the shop in Memphis to take it.
