Take Big Bites 3/12/2006

Talk about mile high sandwiches. This place really stacks up on the meat. They use top quality cold-cuts and toppings and serve hungry man sized portions. This place is not for wimps. I have to recommend the corned beef because I Think it is their best offering. It isn’t chewy like so many want to be corned beef sandwiches that you find at local diners. Perry’s makes sandwiches and they make them with pride. Go there with an empty stomach. more

If you like meaty fresh sandwiches...this is the place 9/9/2005

I have come here on several occasions to give my sandwich fix a fix. This is a great place to grab lunch...crowded yes. But, it is worth the wait. This sandwiches are piled high with meat and sides. If you want a sandwich get here early to avoid the long lines during lunch. more

Huge Sandwhiches 8/16/2005

This is probably the only place in Chicago where I do not mind the long line. And that's only because they have lots of trivia and old newspaper clippings on the wall, which keep customers occupied while they wait. And the wait is never really all that long. Within just a few minutes, you'll have a huge sandwich and some coleslaw on the side. Most of their sandwiches are tasty and all of them are huge -- count on leftovers. Oh and its advisable to turn your cell phones off as you come here -- this restraunt is definitely one cell-phone-friendly! more

Biggest Sandwiches 7/12/2005

Perry's is great if you don't mind waiting in line. I've seen the line out the door sometimes but considering the price and what you get for it, I guess waiting a bit doesn't matter. The sandwiches come with a fork because they are so big - there is no possibility of getting it into your mouth. A half is definitely more than enough - my favorite is there egg salad and they have the best shakes. more
