Outstanding Ford Dealership 4/30/2011

This is, by far, the best dealership throughout the San Diego County. I have purchased automobiles and had my vehicles serviced frequently at this Perry Ford establishment. The staff has always been courteous, honest, intelligent, and professional. When I buy an automobile from them, everything is taken care of......as promised. When my vehicles are serviced......everything is completed as expected. Expect the best from this Ford dealership, because from my personal experiences, you will certainly get it. more

Deceiving Bankruptcy Program 3/25/2011

I filed for bankruptcy and receive many letters from credit card and car dealer companies. One of these letters was from Perry Ford. It’s a one page letter folded into an envelope . It had stated I was approved up to $25,000 and only needed to pay for taxes and license. The letter states in bold letters “Bankruptcy Program has Pre-approved you” and “$0 Down”. I called and talked to Val , I thought I was dealing with a straight forward car dealer that wouldn’t try and pull the usual bad reputation bate and switch. I was wrong, Val stated I still need to fill out an application, after doing so he said it will be 30 min then he said the banks were closed so he’d called the next day. The following day said he couldn’t find a bank and preapproval didn’t mean I would get a loan. BEWARE! more

BAD SERVICE 2/5/2011

Bought a 2006 Ford focus last year with matching extended warranty, first week after I bought the car I noticed sounds coming from the brakes so told them about the problem and all I got was it's normal all cars does go through that just break it in so I said okay, came back after a month same problem still I get the reply of it's normal!! Now it's a year old and still have the same problem. Cut the story short this place treats you at first so highly but after you purchase from them they just treat you like nothing, Customer service at the at the service area is so messed up, just rushing to give you an answer, Imagine You being told it's obvious you don't want to PAY! Hello..with an extended warranty and never got to use it wow!!! I say don't buy your cars from this dealer, nice at the begining then after you're on your on. My part still figuring out how to fix the problem or where to even take my car where they can really digonosed the problem. ONE YEAR! and yes I'm still stuck with the squeaking sound. sad because I bought this car for my daughter and yet it's so messed up.. waste of money more

Just one headache after another! 10/23/2010

Bought a 2010 Ford Escape in February. Also bought the Star Guard System & Surface Protection Product. They said they'd call in a few days when the products came in & set up a time to install them. Never heard back. Called after a month & they couldn't find my paperwork. Once they did they set up an appointment. When I went in for the appointment I had to prove it was my car b/c they still had the car listed under the old owner's name. Took forever to install the products. I noticed the dashboard had a big white streak on it when I got it back. I'm still trying to get that resolved. Nothing is getting it off & you have to come by Perry Ford during the week b/c they do the Protectant product through a contractor. Now it's October & I just figured out the Star Guard was never installed on my vehicle. I'm demanding my money back b/c their service is terrible & after the unresolved dashboard incident I'd rather not have them touch my car. They're telling me that this is "tricky" b/c the sales lady doesn't work there anymore. Don't know how that's my problem but they want to make it my problem. Never shopping there again!! more

Horrible customer service, flee market after purchase 2/20/2010

I just bought a mustang gt premium 2 days ago, when I come back to recieve promised extras my salesman ignores me and give me crappy floor mats that dont fit for my gt and no floor mats for back seat or cover for trunk. Dont come here after you buy the car they will give you no service even though you purchase a nice car like a mustang gt premium. My salesmen tried to haggle with me on 15 dollar floor mats for my mustang gt! wtf 36000 car purchased and you make this dealership a flee market. dont go to this dealership Pros: friendly when you buy car Cons: unprofessional, makes you angry, wastes time more
