This is definitely one of Perry's last remaining icons of what the town was 50 years ago. My grandparent's even went here in their 20's. The food is no worse for you than any other fast food establishment, but the taste here is so much more flavorful and original. You can watch it 's preparation by sitting on a barstool around the grill and kitchen area, definitely like the 50's diner atmosphere or there are tables overlooking the bowling lanes. The lanes definitely have seen better days, but they are still in working order and you better know how to keep your own score when you bowl because there are no computers! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is original. Every time I visit Perry, this is a definite must for a great tenderloin, Iowa-style!!
