On September 26th, me and my wife went to this dealer simply to "walk the grounds". What happened next was laughable. When I first finished graduate school in 2012 I purchased my first car through a dealer. Unfortunately I purchased this vehicle from Performance Buick. In education you quickly learn that every experience is a learning experience. As the owner of a dealership you never know whose in your lot. Me and my wife were met by "The Hat Man"; a very nice older gentleman. As we talked I told the salesman that we really weren't intersted in buying because I wasn't spending a dime over 38,000. I had a trade in that I had recently appraised at 3 different dealerships. Please keep this in mind that the dealers trade in appraisers at all three previous dealerships appraised my vehicle for anywhere between 8400 and 9000. Anyway, out of feeling sorry for the salesman I allowed him to have the car appraised by the apparent "owner". Every other dealer appraised the car by going under the hood and actually checking the mechanics!!!! This individual simply drove the car around in business atire and appraised the car at a laughable 5,000. To make matters more pathetic on his end, the individual did not speak or acknowledge customers. What he didn't know is that me and my wife own a massive home in Dock Landing and will be paying cash for our new vehicle from our own account. We simply had the car appraised to make the salesman look good. We had no intention of trading it in we were looking to purchase outright. Once again they didn't know. The salesman was very respectful but I will admit he was out of his league. The owner didn't respect his own salesman and that was apparent in th way he treated him as well as the consumer. Me and my wife are wealthy but do not show off. We were actually going to offer 38,000 cash for a 40,000 2014 Buick Enclave; a very reasonable offer!!. We will be taking our business elsewhere and will always make sure to share our story! The ownership is deplorable and from the look loosing $$$$$
