Where do I start?
Not with a perfect smile. If there was ever a rating system that starts with minus ""0"", that would be the rating I'd give this group of ""charlatans"". I am 69 years old, never in my whole life did I ever come across a group of incompetent, money grabbing, professionally inefficient so call ""licensed"" people. Started with a visit when I needed to correct a couple of fillings which needed repaired, two months later I found myself back at the office fixing that previous repair which still wasn't done correctly since the dentist that corrected it did a rush job and failed to buff up the teeth in question and both teeth were left with edges which were extremely uncomfortable to live with.
When I returned for the third timeI was assigned Dr Taylor who, by the way, was not very friendly, didn't even introduce himself to me, a basic protocol when a professional Dr meets a new patient. He proceeded to inject me with anesthesia, as he inserted the needle, he hit a nerve which made me scream with excruciating pain. A pain never felt in my whole existence and literally made me jump off the chair. Stupidly, he screams at me and says, ""DON'T MOVE, DON'T MOVE"" as if, at that moment, I had any control of my convulsing body and the pain inflicted by hitting that nerve. He then tried to save face by saying that this was normal; Yeah right! Everyone in the office heard my scream and they came around to find out what had happened; he got extremely nervous and embarrassed and proceeded to warn me if I trusted him or not as a doctor to continue, I said, excuse me sir but I don't want you to touch me ever again ever! and then proceeded to walk out of the office. That should have been a ""sign"" for me to stay away from this place, but due to my insurance plan restrictions I was forced to go back and have said problem corrected, in which case Dr. Julie was the newly assigned dentist to my case. This time the anesthesia was applied properly and she went on to supposedly correct my problem. A month later I am back because the filling she had previously completely fell out and I ended up with a big hole in my tooth. Dr. Julie examined the tooth and told me that I needed a Crown which would cost me out of pocket $400.00 plus another $100.00 for some sort of preparation needed for its installation (never heard of that one before), nevertheless I agreed to go with the procedure and asked her how long will it take to get the crown made and she said 2 weeks; they then demanded that I pay the $500.00 up front. Three weeks went by without hearing from the office which prompted me to call to find out what was going with the crown; only for them to tell me that the crown was in but Dr. Julie was on vacation for the next 2 weeks; I asked if there was someone else who could install the crown for me and she said no one was available to do it and had to wait for Dr Julie to come back; to which I responded with indignation the a lack of responsibility and consideration on her part she had for her patients, by not assigning someone to do the work while she was going to be absent. After over a month of waiting, she finally installed the crown after a 10 minute bout trying to remove the temporary piece (there's got to be a better way to remove it!) Late that afternoon, I called her to complain about a terrible pain I had with the tooth but she was not available; so I left a message with the receptionist for her to call me back since I needed some medication to relieve the pain. But no dice, even until today, she's never returned my call! .....imagine, what kind of Dr are we talking about here?
