When you buy a new house full of appliances at Percy's, on Goldstar Blvd in Worcester, and you don't pay attention to the details like I did something is bound to go wrong. For me...I ordered the wrong stove. Wanted Gas, thought we had Gas, but I don't have gas service. I needed to make the switch. The staff handled the change perfectly, delivered the new one when it arrived and took the old one back! Gotta love a team that is headed up by a great guy...Alan Levine! I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Percy's again! My experience with Alan was no less than superior. He is helpful, stands behind his products, and is a pleasure to deal with! When you have someone like this at the top, it flows down to his staff as well! Thanks Alan and all the folks at Percy's! I am cooking with...Electric now! :) more

THE BEST AND ONLY PLACE TO BUY YOUR APPLIANCES 1/9/2011

We purchased an entire suite of kitchen appliances form Percys( thanks to David Paris who knows more about everything that is out there -pros and cons specs and details) over two years ago-----Lets face it when things go well and your appliances work great-you can buy from ANYBODY...but when things go very wrong as they did in our case...you better hope you have this service team on your side!\r \r The day before our first thanksgiving in our new kitchen another service company (A&E)came out to fix my 6month old oven---when they left the door would not close---PEOPLE how do you cook a turkey when the door won't close due to a tech who didn't know what he was doing ...when I called A&E they said they couldn't have anyone out there until after the holiday----The tech who broke the door on my oven had just pulled out of my driveway but they had no way to tell him to come back and fix what he broke!!!\r \r So we decided to call PERCYS where we purchased our appliances for advice---\r They had a tech in my driveway that afternoon and my turkey came out beautiful....\r THIS was the beginning of a beautiful relationship---sadly our appliances turned out to be lemons...we never got that ""new appliance feeling!"" \r AND ITS HOW A COMPANY HANDLES A CUSTOMER PROBLEM THAT IS THE TRUE TEST OF THEIR STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS----\r Well PERCYS worked with the manufacturer and made everything right and continues to support us with technicians and a service team that are knowledgable, friendly, and most of all CARING professionals!\r The office staff embraces our needs as best as they can and their techs are simply THE BEST (especially STEVE!)....\r if you want the best value for your money and a company that stands behind what they sell (unlike the big box stores who don't even answer the phone when you have a problem) go to Percys ALL of our friends in Sterling have and no one regrets it! more

I shopped at Percy's for the first time last year when I needed a freezer for my garage. They were great! Just went back and bought all new appliances for my kitchen. the sales person was really patient with my wife and I and spent a long time helping us. I went to Lowe's first but you can't even get anyone to wait on you there! more

We have bought thousands of dollars worth of appliances at Percy's over the years, as their sales staff is knowledgable and helpful and they have hi quality merchandise. We have bought refridge, oven, micro, HDTV, dryer, dishawasher there.\r \r We recently purchased a blue ray player that unfortunately was not compatible with our wireless. So we decided to exchange it for the other brand that percy's sold. We were told that if this player was not compatible, we could not return it. That it was not their fault it wasn't compatible (thats like a store not allowing you to return a shirt that doesn't fit, then claiming its not their fault your body isn't compatible!). We decided not to purchase the second blue ray. When we attempted to return the $100 cable that we bought for the original blue ray, they would not take it back. Instead only offering us 50% return on the item. Furthermore, they were rude to my husband and the customer service rep was snippy. Even though they were well aware of our long standing loyalty as customers, they said they ""don't care"" if we don't shop there anymore, they were not going to give us full exchange/return on our merchandise.\r \r I say good riddance to them. I will NEVER shop there again, nor recommend anyone there again. In fact, I will go out of my way to make sure that I spread the word about how rude and ridiculous they are. Not a cheap place to by electronics 12/23/2009

Percys indicates they will price match, however I was in there the other day (12/23/2009)looking for a TV, and I saw the TV in best buy the day before. SO when I got at percys I saw the same TV but for 100.00 more!!\r I told them about best buys price and the price I have seen it at several other shops, they said they would call and find out but when no one would answer the phone at best buy, they said forget it we cant price match. So they were basically to lazy to wait. And a bit rude after I told them thier prices always were so much higher than thier compitition. When I said they they stated "" not everything is more"" and when I called them on it to tell me what they had cheaper or same price as other places, they could not tell me even one thing. Its too bad \r they are so high, they have good name products, but I cant see where anyone would pay 25% or more for products they can get elsewhere. I feels like they were using this tactic on me becuase they thought best buy was sold out. and thats just down right wrong.\r My review gives them an F- I will never go back there. Pros: good name products Cons: much more expensive then the compitition. more
