My running group has been meeting at Pepe's several times a year for a few years. We start our run from the restaurant and eat breakfast after. We've had an arrangement to either park in the back parking lot or across the street. This week, as we were gathering the owner told us that our presence would make the restaurant look too ""busy"" and we would drive the customers away. She also had folks move cars from the back parking lot. I guess she doesn't need the business of 50 hungry runners! Most of us live in the area, and after this bad experience I doubt any of us would return. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast across the street at ""Bonjour"", where we were warmly welcomed.
