Pep Boys

The service department person in the store was so rude and insulting the customers. He tried to find fault with the customers even for simple enquiry. I went to this store battery change. According to the pepboys site battery check is free. But the person on the store told it is $16.90 just for checking. I don't want to argue further and hence I told him to change the battery. For that he was insulting. There was $25/= coupon from pepboys site which they told they cannot accept. The reason - I should have bought the battery in the retail section of the same store instead of buying from the service department. Totally absurd reason. I will never ever go to this store. more

I went in for a front alignment. I waited 1hr 45min to be told that I needed $992.73 worth of work. Parts= $342.56 Labor = $483.99 tax= $64.94. My car is a 2002 PT Cruiser with 62k on it. I baby my car. Any noise, shimmy or anything i'm looking for or fixing. The guy didn't even blink when he told me the price. This is the 2nd time I tried to use them and they gave me a B.S. quote! This place should be investigated by the Better Business people. Do these guy really think people are that stupid? Just by looking at my car you can tell it is maitented very well! I will never use or shop at this place again! When I called their "contact Us" phone number the lady was like "whatever"! Whatever you do avoid this place!! I will be scanning the B.S. estamate and posting it on my FACEBBOOK and other internet sites! more

I got to build a relationship with this pep boys over the course of having my "problem car". The customer service was good, and the store is well laid out and organized. more

What I like about this place is that they have help in the service area ready to help you with any questions from tires to windshield wipers. I went there for an oil filter and they matched up the exact model to my car. more
