I got a flat tire today (Sunday 1/17/10) and the guys who fixed it were AWESOME. I drove around in the pouring rain looking for repair shop and to my dismay, nothing was open and I was starting to get worried. But finally, I was delighted to see this place was open. If it wasn't for this place, I would've have had to remove the damaged tire & install the spare myself in the rain (& that wouldv'e sucked). So, when I arrived at this station I was immediately greeted by the staff and then asked what I needed. I was a bit weary just cause some repair shops can be shady and try to rip people off, 'cause I've experienced that before. But the people here were very courteous and helpful. And even though it took them awhile to fix my flat tire. While waiting, I was asked if I was a rewards card member and informed if I was that it would be fixed free of charged, if I was. Want to compliment "DENNY" an employee of PEPBOYS in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I was traveling with my two young grandchildren on December 15 when I noticed one of my tires appeared soft. I hunted down the nearest automotive shop (PEPBOYS) and took my two grandchildren into the store to wait in line behind several people. The line moved quickly and when It was my turn I explained my situation to one of the employees. After listening to my story, DENNY escorted me to the parking lot where he personally checked all four tires. After questioning me about how far and how long I had driven that morning, he informed me all four tires required air. He told me to drive around the corner to the garage stalls, where he personally put the additioinal air in my tires. Time spent at Pepboys.. approximately 15 minutes. Just a quick note to compliment the service staff of this PEPBOYS store #690 I was stuck back on Nov 6 and the following were a big help Humberto George, Alex, Geovanni!\r \r These individuals were all a great help to me in allowing me to actually work on my truck in the parking lot and as I got stuck they all fell in and assisted me. The people that work in the garage area are friendly and pretty fast. There is a small lounge to sit and wait for your vehicle. There aren't very many seats, but at least the seats there are in a covered room with a television. The parts counter servicepeople are helpful too. Not a bad automotive experience overall. more
