I enjoyed the food a lot. I got samosas and mattar paneer and it was quite tasty.

Worst

While the food was tasty, but it is not worth the price 4.5 bite-seized pieces of lamb and 2 smaller pieces of potato in the Lamb Vindaloos for $10. Seriously?! First and Last ...

I've lived in India and People's has the most authentic Indian food I've had in Pgh. The portions have become significantly decreased in the last few months, so I don't go as often, but still best taste for the money. more

Feel disappointed and ripped-off 3/19/2012

I have been to Peoples a couple times. Each time purposefully trying something new. So far they make me love their food consistently. Great food, good service, nice place. Very comfortable. Pros: price, food, choice Cons: it's very quiet more

I want to like People's 11/25/2008

I used to like People's. I WANT to like People's. But my husband and I both get sick when we eat there. It might be a certain spice. I haven't heard of ANYONE else getting sick from People's. The service great. The atmosphere is great. The location is great. The atmosphere is great for two people conversing or a number of friends. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Location Cons: I get sick! more

Avoid on anyday 7/8/2008

Even if somebody gives me million dollars i would not go there and eat in it. Case and Point; We asked for hot sauce and he gave me raw chilli ""powder"" to subsitute for hot and the only thing it was good was chick (mutton) ,onions and water...\r more

Stellar restaurant 4/3/2008

The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly and accomodating, nice atmosphere. If you have never been there, you should definitely check it out. more
