DONT EVER USE PEOPLE AUTO CREDIT EVER! Christina is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with! Shes rude, does not have no compassion! All she cares about is your payment...no matter what you say, she thinks your lying...and when your out smarting her, she likes to get louder and ruder and than hangs up out of weakness....smh! 98% percent of People Auto Credit customers be telling the truth about their life situations....Things happen! But People auto credit AKA Christina Auto Credit, Don't under that! SMH! When you have customers that have been with you for a long time, and make all their payments...show some kindness...it might help the communication between you and your customers. She Just one evil person, and doesn't deserve the position she holds....its not worth It! I cant wait till I'm done making my payments.... more

Unfortunately, I have found out that this business is as bad as the previous reviews indicated. Christina and ""her crew"" are horrid and very unprofessional toward their customers. It's too bad they don't realize the customers are the reason they have a job and this is the year 2013 where business practices have too be respected due to consumer laws. There is other management which can be contacted as Christina is only office personnel. In due time there will be legal issues due to all the complaints, the Better Business Bureau has received, along with the Kansas attorney general's office. I agree that the fraudulent statements and practices should be put to an end by more customers who make complaints. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this business. I would tell others DON'T USE THEM and my recommendations would go from consumer to consumer. more

I can honestly say that I have never dealt with anything like this at all! Christina calls me on a daily basis and would send me emails at work and call my job. I lost my job because of her calling there. We are not allowed ot have personal calls at work and that was made aware to her. What bothers me is that she would started calling and emailing me when a payment would be a day late! We are not talking weeks or months, we are just talking a day, 2-3 at the most. \r \r Her emails are very rude and are never put together grammatical correct. I have been called a liar and told that I was making myself look bad because I informed her back in December that my payment would be late because my car had been towed and that I had to pay $250 to get it back. She asked for proof that it was towed. I sent her all of the paperwork and the she called me the next day and told me that I was a liar and that I was making myself look bad because my car was never towed and that she knew for a fact that it wasnt because she called and they told her that my car was not there. I told her that I paid to get it back so therefore, it wouldnt still be there. \r \r Everything has gone downhill from there. To say that they are rude is an understatement. I told her that I wouldnt be dealing with them too much longer. She said that she wanted to know why because no one would take my trade in. I really think and believe that she is use to dealing with people that will let her talk to them any way and walk all over them.....well I not one of those people! \r \r I have copies of all of the rude emails that she has sent, as well as all of the negative things that other customers have said about them. I will be meeting with a lawyer next week about the harassment and stress that she has caused me and my family. \r \r I dont understand how this company is still in business! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!! more

Never go to this place. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, along with multiple other customers of theirs. Christina is the most hateful, horrid person I have ever met in my life. I had my checkbook stolen and had to close my bank account. I called her immediately the same day and told her what happened. She accused me of lying to her stating I do not live where I said I live, and stated that I just didn't want to make my payment. I was finally fed up with her abuse and asked for a supervisor. She said she was the supervisor. I said, ""there is no one else I can speak to about your disrespect and attitude"" and she stated, ""God"". And hung up on me. I have never missed a WEEKLY payment in almost 3 years. This was ridiculous! more

Don't let them fool you. This is a horrible place to do business. They have called me multiple times at work and multiple times myself and my co workers have advised them I can not recieve personal calls at work. When I reiterate this with them all the want to do is argue and call back the next day. I could get fired for personal calls, and then they couldn't get anything out of me if I'm unemployed. I was late on a payment due to me switching jobs and I told them this when I first got hired by my new employer and that the pay dates where different so I set up a promissary with them to automatically pull on my first pay date. Well apparently the dimwits up there are not able to notate account correctly because not only where they calling me they were calling my family and everyone else on my reference list. They screamed and cursed at my aunt and told her that I was deliquent on my account and have to pay or they were going to repoe my car. I wasn't aware they could give that kind of information out to non customers. They will also call me when my account is not deliquent and tell me that it is.. How they hell if I'm set up to pay bi-weekly and I make a payment and week later are they calling me and telling me I have a missed payment. They lie, lie, lie to get every little dime out of you until you have nothing less. Further more, I will never do business with Shawnee Mission kia either due to the lemon they sold me. Within 4 months of having my car I had to put out 600 dollars worth of repairs into it, and here it is a year and a half into my 3 year loan my car has completely died and is going to cost 2 grand to fix. Both Shawnnee Mission Kia and Peoples auto credit have failed me for customer service. I will never return to this place nor will i recomend it to anyone. The only good thing I can say about Shawnee Mission Kia is Larry Huskey, the Shop manager, at the finance center is the nicest, sweetest man and the only good thing they have going on at that place. more

They ran my debit card without authorization! Then I made a cash payment and they didn't tell me they had already ran my card. They caused my account to overdraw and basically told me it was my fault and they just wouldn't accept phone payments from me if it was going to be an issue! So......I get to spend extra time and money to drive up there and deal with their rudeness. My car will be paid off soon and I had fully anticipated using Shawnee Mission Kia used cars again. But if that means that I have to go through Peoples Auto then FORGET IT! Sorry Tyrone, they just lost you a sale. OH and when we asked for a supervisors number, they just transferred me to another girl in the same office! Deceitful!!! more

This place is not run like a business. It's run like a bar. Cursing, lieing to customers. Christine, the manager who always has red eyes when I make my payment, will not answer your questions, she just gets rude and wants to call you names. She told me she doesnt care about my problems that her son is in prison for murder and she has to visit him. Well when you ran an unauthorized payment on my credit card, my problem is your problem ! I do not recommend this place, and if you are stuck there, I do not recommend you make your payment with a bank account or credit card. They save your info even if they are not authorized to do so and will run payments on the card without your permission ! And refuse to return the money just tell you when they scheduled you due again !! So if you make Christine mad and she has your bank info, you may be making payments that even due yet ! more

I won't even rate this lousy place. They never have it all together. I get phone calls every other month telling me my payment is due and I need to call them and make arrangements or ELSE. Funny thing is that I have NEVER missed a car payment to this joke of a place. Every time I make my payment they say ""well nobody put that in the computer system"" I make my payment once per month at a higher rate based on how they do the billing. Okay with me I just pay once per month, they call me every other month saying I haven't paid my bill on time. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY A VEHICLE IF YOU HAVE BAD CREDIT, THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. more

I received a phone call from People's Auto Credit letting me know it was time to pay my bill. They have done that every other Monday for approximately a year. It was their courtesy call saying I was late. The funny thing is, approximately a year ago, (and a few times in between,) I informed them that unfortunately I wasn't able to pay every other Saturday, but I could pay 2 days late one the Monday if that was okay with them. (I get paid on Sat. and I want to make sure my funds are available.) They stated ""yes,"" and they would make a note so everyone knew my situation, (but they still continued to call me every Monday to remind me I was late, and every Monday I would remind them that I pay on the Monday and to check their notes.) That wasn't a huge problem for me. The reminder was quite nice. They would call every other Monday and I would tell them to take out the amount they quoted to obtain a bi-weekly agreement. more

this place is horrible. in fact all of shawnee mission kia is horrible. i started off at the main dealership because they had the bring home $250 a week and your credit is guarenteed. they said i was approved for a 2011 optima. after having to go up there 3 more times to bring up more papers that they forget to tell me before to bring they then said i was no longer approved and took me across the street to the used car lot. they then approved me for a 2006 mazda. i left to run to the bank to get my down payment and when i came back i was no longer approved for the mazda. then they said i had a choice between an suv and a car. i chose the suv, gave them my downp payment. signed all my papers with a co- signer and they said it was a done deal. two days later they called me saying i wasnt approved for the suv and needed to bring it back right away. they then took me to the buy here pay here lot and said they had only 1 car i could choose from which was a 1995. i was in need of a car so went ahead and took the car. meanwhile a couple weeks later the finance company for the suv took out my payment for the suv. when i asked if i was actually approved for the suv they said yes. but when i called sm kia they said they couldnt get me back into the suv because i was already in a contract with the other car. since then ginger and christina have been horrible. they repoed my car once after being a week late because i had hung up the phone on them because i was at work and all they wanted to do was argue. they constantly change the amount i owe if i do get behind and change the date its due without telling me. all they want is to get every penny from you for the overpriced crap of a car that they sold you. i will never ever recommend shawnee mission kia to anyone and have already contacted several authorities to get that place either closed down or in proper management, more

My family was really in a bad situation and needed help getting a car. While I had very little to put down, they put me into a great car I am proud to drive. There was a time when I did get behind and Ginger was understanding of my situation and went out of her way to work with me. My car is nearly paid off now and still runs strong. I do change the oil and keep up the maintenance on it which I am sure helps out. I know other people who have gotten cars there also and they all seem to have the same story as I do. I used to work for one of the major car companies and I can promise you none of them will ever care about the people in the cars as much as I feel everyone at Peoples Auto do. more
