Penzey's Spices is a dream store for all those spice lovers out there such as myself. At Penzey's, you'll find everything from your standard salt and pepper to hard-to-find Indian seasonings and blends. They have a wide selection of sized jars to choose from, so you don't have to commit to a $20 jar of spice if you're just experimenting. The employees are also really helpful if you have any questions about which spices to choose. more

You can find each and every spice you want at this lovely store. A lovely aroma greets you as you enter this all spices store. They have a vast collection of spices for all you dishes be it sweet or spicy. They come in jars of all sizes and you can pick one best suited to your needs. The shop is centrally located in downtown Naperville . The prices are somewhat high but considering the quality of stuff its ok I have also bought spices and saffron here to gift my family and friends and everyone has loved the aroma and taste they grant to food. more

A Spice for All Seasons 1/28/2006

Penzey's Spices is a gem of a find,with stores opening up nationally. You can tell by the simplistic decor that the emphasis is on the smell, and not the packaging. However, if you're looking for that one special spice, Penzey's will have it. I was most impressed by their varieties of cinnamon and various premade Indian spice combinations. Spices come in a variety of sizes, so you can always get a little one and try it out first. Make sure to pick up a catalog from them-- it has some great suggestions and recipes for your newfound treasures! more

You can get each and every spice that you have ever heard of out here. A lovely aroma greets you as you enter this place located in downtown naperville. They have a vast collection of spices and herbs for cooking and baking and they come in variety of sizes if you just want to sample some. The store is a bit pricey but the quality of spices and the aroma and taste they grant to food make it worth visiting. more

Nice spice shop 11/25/2005

I enjoyed my trip. Was able to smell the spices. Samples would have been nice. I made a purchase of about $30 and came home with a nice little spice collection more

Spicey place 7/30/2005

If you've been looking everywhere for a specific spice and just can't find it, try Penzey's. They have every herb and spice you've ever heard (or haven't heard) of. Great downtown location in Naperville too so it is interesting to browse around the store if nothing else. They do let you buy smaller jars of spices too if you don't want to try too much. more
