Best

Great atmosphere being right on the beach on Alki - went there once after a soccer tournament and have gone there every time I've been in West Seattle since - well worth the trip!

Worst

Pegasus Pizza's pizza is like eating cheese bread, without a doubt. When I used to go there, I would ask for extra sauce, and then it APPROACHED what most places give you normall...

Great for pizza and shrimp salad! 3/6/2011

Love the shrimp salad! I get it every time! Pizza's are pretty good too and great spot off Alki. I usually prefer thin crust pizzas, but this place is pretty good. more

its ok. not that great 2/27/2010

Pegasus pizza is a good place to dine in. the inviroment is pleasing, service is good etc. \r not good for take out service. once you take the pizza out, you relize that you need two large pizzas to feed the family because they are the size of a normal medium size. pizza lacks flavor, nothing great about the crust its bland and thick. over priced in my opinionh Pros: dine in enviroment, good beer Cons: pizza lacks flavor. small size large pizzas more

It gets no Better.. 2/23/2009

You simply cannot eat a better pizza than Pegasus Pizza. Whether you like the traditional mixes of flavors such as pineapple and canadian bacon or your tastes run to the more gourmet style encompassing sun-dried tomatoes, sunflower seeds and proscuitto, Pegasus will make your tastebuds sing!\r \r Be prepared to wait (and wait some more), especially on weekends and any relatively sunny day, due to its location right on Alki's beautiful beach. But it's well worth it. Pros: wonderful food, noisy and fun, fabulous view Cons: wretched parking on the street --RIGHT ON ALKI--Good Luck! more

Great pizza while visiting a great area of Seattle! 11/29/2008

The Greek Salad is a must! It's huge so it can be shared with 3-4 people, and the price is very reasonable. The pizza comes deliverd to your table bubbling hot. We have tried them all and vote all are great! Please go and take your friends. It will become one of your favorites! Pros: Price for the amount of food you get. Cons: Parking can be tricky on hot summer days. more

Worst customer serivce, wait staff are rude and ugly. 7/19/2008

Lets just say the wait staff our a bunch of dumb snatches and if i ever go back there i will have most definitley kick some a**. There rude inconsiderate dont no a lick a about customer service and need to learn when to pick there battles. If you like pizza but have to wait 30 mins for your pizza and try and be told how a long a pizza takes to cook when your inquiring about your food then i suggest you go here. Also if your trying to pay for your food and like it when the manager gives you attitude and doesnt know a lick about managing a resturant or staff yeah come here. There's all that and then some...god stoopid people.\r \r \r Pros: food Cons: service more

Delicious pizza! 7/3/2008

Poor Service 6/25/2008

Busy, sunny evening. Ordered a takeout pizza. pay upfront and wait inside. Promised a pizza in 10 minutes. 25 Minutes goes by, ask waitress to check on the order. Assured that its coming. 35 minutes. Ask Manager about it, assured that order is placed and coming. 60 minutes. Still no pizza. Ask for a refund. Manager gives wrong change back (down 1 dollar), promises a free large pizza in 8 minutes. Wait 8 minutes. no pizza. Leave hungry, frustrated, out 1 dollar for having waited 1:15 minutes for nothing. To be fair, they were extremely busy with a wedding party coming in, however, they should have been upfront about the wait time and actually checked if the kitchen had the order. more

Best pizza in Seattle? Really? Have you gone anywhere else? 1/14/2008

This highly overrate pizzeria manages to turn out a product that's consistently greasy and bland. To be fair, I've not tried the salads, but when I go to a pizza joint, it's because I want pizza. This has to be hands down the most overrated restaurant I have ever encountered. It seems that anyone that's lived in West Seattle for any length of time will invariably swear by Pegasus, even people who normally have good taste. Perhaps there's something in the drinking water that makes West Seattleites crave bland pizza enough to brave the lack of parking to get it. It just doesn't make sense, especially with a Pagliacci being available. Pros: You're in Alki, enjoy the view Cons: Pizza, parking, service can be slow, even when empty more

Best Pizza on Alki! 8/7/2007

Pegasus Pizza was recommended by my boss. He lived in Seattle for 6 years and said it was the best place in Seattle. He was right! This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. It has a style all it's own and a HUGE array of toppings! Extremely tasty. Our service was superb and the view of Alki was amazing! Pros: Service, Food, View, and Value! All excellent! more

delicious pizza 8/6/2007

It's a great location to grab a greek salad and a pizza then walk to the beach and enjoy the sun. They have a patio, but it doesn't get sun until around 4. The meatball pizza is to die for. more

Fantastic soup and salad, plus great pizza! 8/4/2007

The soup is homemade and always really tasty. Their minestrone soup is the best I have ever had. The salads are huge and the ingredients are always fresh. They also have excellent grinders and subs. I can't remember a meal that we have eaten there that wasn't delicious. Plus, their prices are very reasonable. You get a lot of food for your money. Pros: Lots of food, consistently good meals Cons: Too hard to get to more

Great pizza 11/18/2006

The pizza here is pretty good. My friend and I went to eat..and we were promptly seated. Our waitress was very nice and the pizza did not disappoint at all. I think that this location is a lot better than the Renton location. Pros: Great pizza, good service more

Absolutely the Best Pizza anywhere! 7/13/2006

Seriously. The pizza here is addictive! Great salads too. The view is fantastic. Just get here early or prepare to wait! Pros: Outstanding food; great location Cons: Crowded due to its popularity more

Yummy 2/18/2006

We used city search to find the best pizza around. Pretty good. We had the greek salad and the special pizza with shredded pep and sunflower seeds. I guess it was good, I dont think it was the BEST though. The view was terrific . My son had spagahetti, it was yummy with some intersting flavor. Maybe cinnamon or curry. I know that doesn't make sense but thats what it tasted like. Pros: Views, Service Cons: Parking more

The best pizza in Seattle 2/26/2005

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever ate. It is huge and topings is so thick and tasty - you wouldn't believe. Salads are huge and just great! Greek salad is very tasty as well as Caesars. Vines are great. Actually even house vines are really good and not pricy at all - $3.25 a glass is nothing. I personally would suggest to try house burgundy - really great vine. Overall it is very cheap place with extremely good and tasty pizza - you could spend $10-15 per person and leave them completely stuffed. Great Place. Please, try it - you wouldn't regret! Pros: Low price, Huge size, Nice location Cons: Crowdy more

Best Pizza EVER 3/17/2004

This is seriously the best pizza I have ever had. The toppings are so thick on it you have to eat it with a knife and fork until you get up to the crust. Try the Greek salad also, but split it with your friend, because it is huge! This is a great place for a beer, pizza and salad. One warning, come early or later in the evening, because if you come at normal dinner hours there will be a line. This place is my favorite! Pros: Cheese, Cheese, Chees, Good local beers, Great location more

Dissapointed 7/2/2003

Other then the view, nothing special! Soggy pizza and took forever to be served. more

Pegasus is the best! 12/6/2002

Pegasus is consistently, and, judging by crowd appeal, the best pizza in Seattle. The topping selection is original and tasty! The location on Alki couldn't be better for those evenings you wish to stroll the beach after a wonderful pizza. more
