Pediatric Specialties

When my daughter was born born Pediatric Specialties out of Hackensack walked into Hackansack Hospital, visited my wife in her hospital room and performed a procedure without prior authorization by the insurance company then tried to stiff us with the bill.\r \r I told the nasty billing rag (who by the way called our house at least twenty times a day to harass us) that I was not paying and even told her that she better comply with the letter which was sent to their practice by our insurance company because it basically stated that if they tried to bill us again they would be pulled from UnitedHealthcare.\r \r Dr.Jonathan Wong was spoken to in regard to the matter of our house being called twenty times a day and he seemed to care less. more

Love all the doctors and staff! Very informative, helpful, and friendly! They always answer my questions and reassure me if I have any concerns! Would highly recommend! P.s. had my daughters ears pierced and they came out beautiful! more

My 9 month old daughter had her ear pierced in this clinic. The nurse who pierced her ear had a very long fingernail so she made a mess. They should not allow nurses to wear long fingernails especially when they ear taking care of babies due to hygienic purposes and safety reasons! at the end I still paid $40.00, the same nurse removed the earring and threw it in the garbage and my baby is crying in pain. more

What good is a doctor if you can't get an appt with her/ him. I love the doctor, but try to get an appt. My daughter is 14 and has been going to this doctor for 9 years. When I needed a physical for her school, they told me I had to wait four months to get one. Needless to say, I can't leave my daughter out of school for an entire month so we have to change. By the way, $1 a page for her records with a minimum of $20. After nine yrs, let's just say it going to cost us A LOT of money to get her records. Ridiculous!!!!! Cons: Staff is rude!!! more

I moved to Wallington, NJ from Brooklyn, Ny and was looking for a great pediatrician for my infant. I found them through the Empire provider network and I am comepltely satisfied with their attention to detail and friendly staff. Will remain with them as long as possible. more

I have been taking my children to Pediatric Specialties for 11 years and could not be more satisfied in the care that they get. All of the physicians are highly qualified and take the time needed to correctly diagnose and treat each child. Pros: several doctors on ca, 7 days a week Cons: poor parking more
