Pediatric Associates

Unless you like playing phone tag for months with the scheduler and billing dept. take your children somewhere else. They send out automated calls and when you call right back you get a voicemail, then you must have your phone glued to your hip for days/weeks (and sometimes months) waiting for a call back so you can schedule, Hard to do when you have a job and other children. Also the billing dept. are idiots, they sent my insurance company a bill for my youngest daughter when she was 7 days old!! I didn't even have her birth certificate in the mail yet therefore my insurance can not accept the bill, and once insurance rejects the billing dept. DOES NOT send another bill to the insurance, they just harass you through automated messages and letters however fail to return your calls. I called billing and was sent to voicemail...I left a message and never received a call back until they sent a notice threatening collections. The business is unorganized and poorly run, doctors are fine however I have a real problem when I get threatened with collections while I am still waiting on a call back from the billing department. Idiots is what they are, please don't waste your time on the phone with these people and take your kids somewhere else. more

DO NOT go here. The doctors are fine. No problems there. However, my child has been going here for the past 4 years now.\r \r Every time I call to schedule an appointment I am directed to a voicemail. I have never spoken to a human being directly to make an appointment... they always call back a day or two later and it's hard to get to the phone if you actually have a job. I call months in advance for well appointments... and give two/three good dates or times and ask them to schedule it and leave the date/time that worked for their schedule on my voicemail b/c I work and can't answer all the time. They refuse and leave a voicemail saying ""Hi, we got your call, call us back at..."".. I call back.. it goes to voicemail.. and it's like this until I finally get a chance to answer.\r \r On two separate occasions they called me about children who weren't even mine. Scheduling is so unorganized. Ask to speak to a manager and you will be redirected to someone else in their call center or transferred to the well appointments voicemail... but you'll never speak to a manager directly.. or a member from scheduling.\r \r Also, if you use their online system to get immunization records.. it gives you a confirmation and when you try to pick them up, they say they don't have any record of you ordering them (despite your confirmation.. and despite showing them you have it) and they will tell you it will be another week.\r \r Save yourself a headache. Super unorganized pediatric office. more

I've been taking my children to see the doctors at Pediatric Associates since 1999, and I've been very pleased with the treatment they have received. The doctors are terrific, and the nurses are equally professional. There are about 12 doctors in the practice, so it's difficult to see the same doctor each time. This is a BUSY practice! Monday mornings are the most difficult time to call or try to get an appointment. If you have a newborn, they like you to schedule all of your first year appointments at once, which can be tricky. We highly recommend Dr Hsu! PROS: Personable knowledgable staff CONS: Tricky to get in at times, hard to see same doc twice more
