Being from Maryland, I BEG the owners to change the name of their Maryland Crab Cakes to HOCKEYPUCKS. No one I've ever met in MD had ever used panko in their crab cakes. EVER. I had ordered their broiled lump crab cake, but they were out. So I ordered the MD crab cakes, but asked that they be broiled. I got 2 fried hockeypucks. I sent them back for broiled ones but was told since they're frozen, they can't broil them. I ordered the tilapia, which was good, but small portion. Our meal was 'just ok'. We won't be back. We have been here a lot of times,the food has always been good.The last time we were here it was a disaster.Maybe it was just a bad night.My mother in law ordered the Crab and shrimp Louie and she asked them for only crab on it. When she got it we couldn't find any crab.We asked the waiter and he said he would get her some,he brought back a shot glass of crab,no kidding a half shot glass.Then a lady came by and asked if all was ok,we told her what had happened.She said I will bring you more crab...well guess what another half shot of crab.We asked her what gives and she said thats all the crab they put on their Crab Louie.Don't ever order it is our advice.They put tons of chopped egg whites on it and I think with the dim lighting you are to think it is crab. We will go back but no more Louies...Also the other food is average ,nothing outstanding.Atmosphere is nice. Pros: nice atmosphere Cons: watch what you order more

I really like Pearls, I eat there every month or two. Great fish, fun atmosphere, good service and a good selection of drinks. But, Pearls is FAR from the best of OKC! Maybe the best Cajun food but not close to the best overall. Try the Coach House, Metro, Deep Fork Grill or Tom and Jerry's which are all on the NW side of town. Or go to Edmond and try the 501 cafe or Boulevard Steakhouse. Pros: Quality food and a good price Cons: Competition is better! more

I've been going to Pearl's Oyster Bar (northside and southside) for over 15 years. The northside restaurant is still my fave because of it's eclectic (see-and-be-seen) ambience. This has nothing to do with the food, however; it's indescribably delicious. By far, Pearl's is my favorite restaurant not only for it's perfectly, deliciously spiced food, great wait staff, jazz/blues fusion music, laid-back atmosphere where the seats remind me of french tapestry and the the little leopard lamps give it a touch of Voodoo mysticism. Pearl's is a corporate entity, but you would never know it. It feels just like a neighborhood restaurant run by owners who treat you like you're family. ... and if you've ever had better Red Beans & Rice, I'll never believe you! :) Pros: Magnificent Flavor, Very Friendly Staff, Moderate Pricing Cons: Hard to Park at Lunch more

Absolutely the best seafood and Cujun cuisine in OKC. From the Blackened Fish to the Shrimp Creole everything at Pearl's is wounderful. With fresh oysters flown in daily this resturant stacks up with the best in New Orleans. more
