Pcw Computer

\r Horrible place to go to! I had a broken screen and connected a separate monitor so that I could use the computer until I could get it fixed. I had a recommendation from a friend to go here. PCW told me I would have to come back after they inspected the computer to see if it was the screen or the light for the screen to put a deposit down. (I could still see all the images on the computer, so I knew it was a bulb.) I thought it was a little ridicules to have to come to the store three times to have one repair, but whatever. \r Two days later I had someone call me and left a laundry list of items. I went down in person so that I could leave my deposit so they could start working on the computer and because they stated they could not accept payment over the phone. \r When they brought my laptop out it had new scratches on the cover, but I did not mention that. (Accidents happen) They told me my monitor was not working and I asked them to turn it on. For the first time ever, no images were on the screen. (OK, so new screen it is ($200.00 to fix))I then asked them to hook it up to a monitor and a error message was now on the screen. They proceeded to tell me that I now had a problem with my hard drive and they needed an additional $50.00 plus $25 for any files I wanted to back up. They told me this was because of the fall. When I told them I had been using it for over 3 weeks without a problem with an outside monitor, their response was that sometimes it takes time to break. (My computer buddy said that does not just ""happen"")\r At that point I knew I was being ripped off and the people who work here are the same types of people who put a virus on our computers to make money. \r Very dishonest people who are much more on the scam artist side that the resolution to any problem. \r \r Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!!\r They will take advantage of you!! more

This company lost my laptop. I took it in for repair and after calling them a week later they had no idea who I was. I called again and asked for a manager who told me they were trying to locate my laptop. My boss at work was furious with me because it was a company laptop and technically I was not supposed to take it to a third party repair place. I made a really bad decision because after stalling as long as I could my manager at work called me into the office asked me about the company laptop and when I had no good answers I got FIRED!! I urge everyone out there not to make the mistake of using these people. They are irresponsible do no not communicate at all and it looks like they do not accept responsibility either because I am still without my laptop.\r \r CM Pros: Nothing Cons: English is bad, Immature employees, generally irresponsible people. more
