Very Pleased 5/11/2012

I met Rich as a fellow dog owner long before we became clients. I liked what I saw at the dog park and knew who we'd hire as soon as the need ever arose. When our daughter went to work in Hawaii for 4 months, we cared for her dog; a rescue named, Walter. He's a presa-mastiff mix [a big boy] & he needed the company & socialization that a pack playgroup provides. Walter had a ball & is exhausted from fun when he returns. Rich genuinely loves and understands dogs. I highly recommend him. You can be confident that your dog is in very capable, responsible hands.. more

Only pawsitive for Middie and her family 4/6/2011

Our beloved Maltese, Middie, has been going to playcare with Rich and his walkers for about a year. The pick ups and drop offs are seamless. We moved this past summer and thought we were going to lose Rich, but fortunately for us, he made the transition with us. With very short notice, Rich has taken Middie for weekends, picking her up on Saturday morning and returning her Sunday evening. You can't get better service than that. Most important, Middie, who has trouble separating from us flies out the door when one of them comes to pick her up. You will be doing yourself and your dog a favor when you go with Rich and his crew more

Great service, our dog always comes home tired and happy! 11/30/2010

Rich and crew are great with my dog - the three hour play group is perfect - he gets to play off leash, wear himself out and socialize with other dogs, but isn't too overtired like he is after a full day of daycare. Plus, they play outside, pick him up and drop him off, and leave notes about the day's service. Rich is very accessible and responsive and I trust him completely with my dog. You can't argue with a very high energy dog spending the evening relaxing with us, and I don't feel any guilt when I leave in the morning - he's got a great day ahead of him playing with his buds. I recommend Rich and Pawsitive Actions to anyone in the area looking for a walker. We couldn't be happier! more

The best around! 11/9/2010

After meeting with a few dog walkers, it was an easy decision to go with Rich and his crew. From the moment Rich walked in our door, Sydney was enthralled with him. We have had nothing but great experiences with him and would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a walker, play group, or boarder. \r \r When Sydney was just 8 weeks old, we enrolled her in the Puppy Program. Through this program, Sydney not only was able to have some fun while we were at work, but she was also trained by Rich and Corey. We were amazed at how well behaved she was for such a young puppy, and Rich was great about stopping in to give us pointers and advice on additional training. Since the puppy program, she has graduated to the Pack Walk. This has enabled her to become socialized with other dogs and burn some much needed steam off throughout the day. We come home from work and can tell she has had a great day running around with the others. Whenever I have been around to see Sydney get picked up or dropped off, it’s great to see how connected she is to them. \r \r The last thing I want to mention is how flexible this service is. It is great to know that we can get in touch with Rich easily via phone or email to ask questions and work out scheduling. With holidays and vacations, it is easy to cancel days here and there without being charged for services. Rich just wants to make sure that we, and Sydney, are well taken care of and happy. Great service and I highly recommend it! \r more

A tired puppy is a puppy that doesn't do bad things! 11/4/2010

I brought home a Tibetan Terrier puppy over the summer and bumped into Rich while we were out for a walk. My puppy took to Rich immediately and I knew right away he was the person I wanted to help me take care of Nola. We've been working with Rich for about 3 months now, and she is calm, happy, and EXHAUSTED when she comes home from play group every day. I get so many compliments on how well behaved she is and Rich deserves most of that credit! Rich and his team take such good care of her that I don't go to anyone else when I need to leave her for the weekend. Rich and his guys are amazing. They are always super flexible and more than happy to take Nola for the day. Rich has also been a huge help in working to help Nola get socialized with my brother's dogs (who are less than accepting of a new pack-member). He goes above and beyond in taking care of my puppy and I can't imagine trusting her with anyone else! more

Dog service 6/7/2010

Rich has helped me with my 4 year old Portuguses water dog DIEGO since he was 6 months. Knowing he is safe, secure, and happy has always been my first goal. Diego watches with excitement from the window when he knows hes going with Rich or Corey. They both treat and appreciate him as if he was one of there own. Teaching, Nurturing, and paying close attntion to what he needs to work on . I really am glad to have them help me out as a single parent. lol. Even with taking him to get groomed. lol more

Like a part of our family.. 5/17/2010

Rich has been walking our almost two yr. old Golden Retriever since she was a puppy and we would honestly not trust her with anyone else!! \r \r I have been working from home when she has been picked up, and literally she will bolt to the door when she hears the keys jingling before she even sees his face... she LOVES him!!! She goes on daily walks with Rich and comes home happy and tired. He has boarded her for us for a week at times and we always get her back happy, healthy and fully exhausted : )\r \r Before we came to Rich we had some very bad experiences with other companies.. we were very discouraged thinking we would never find a service out there that would treat our baby (our first dog as adults) as well as we do.. low and behold we were given Rich's name and have been with him ever since!!!!! \r \r If you are looking for a reliable, caring, animal loving team- Rich and his service are the place to call!! more

It's like leaving the kids with Mom 2/21/2010

Rich can teach an old dog new tricks! My 12 year old Shiba Inu came to Pawsitive Actions almost 3 years ago and she is now a far more socialized and loving dog. It is so clear that Rich loves the dogs, and they adore him!! My girl hated to be left with anyone and she goes off with Rich like a happy little kid going to playgroup. Her entire disposition has changed since being with Rich and I have such peace of mind knowing she is happy and having great care while I am at work or away. I love my dog so much and I am so grateful to Rich for being in our lives. Pros: Rich is reliable, knowledgeable and compassionate. more

Someone Who Will Love and Care For Your Dog Like You Do 2/20/2010

I have an 18 month old Havanese, and Rich has helped us since the beginning. I work long hours, and he walks my dog daily and boards him often. I've called him at the last minute, and he's always pulled through for me. The love he cares for my dog with is evident when my puppy runs up to him on the sidewalk, anxious for a pet or hug; or when I say Rich's name, and my dog starts running around looking for him wagging his tail. I had a scare last summer when we ended up in the animal ER. It had nothing to do with Rich, but called all the time to check in on how my puppy was doing - another testament to how much he cares about the animals he looks after. This is my first dog. When he was a puppy, I never thought I would get through the potty training and other things that come along with a new little four legged friend. Rich helped us with one on one puppy (really 'owner') training, and and was always there when I had questions - whether they were about my Havanese or someone else's dog that was having issues. I often get comments about how fantastic my dog is, and my response is always that I am very lucky - 50% of it is that I picked a great puppy to begin with, and the other 50% of it is *all* Rich's influence on him! I highly recommend him. more

Pawsitive Actions takes care of cats, too. 2/6/2010

Rich is the best. He came highly recommended. I've hired him several times to feed my cat while I'm away. He's very reliable and I'll hire him again and again. Pros: very reliable more

fabulous dog walking service 2/4/2010

this is the best dog walking service ever! the owner, rich is a true animal lover! he is super friendly, dependable and his enthusiasm for dogs is amazing. his nephew works for him as well and he too is great. i have called them at the very last minute on numerous occasions to help me out w/ a last minute morning walk and even to take my dog overnight for a long weekend and rich ALWAYS pulls through. highly recommend this service to anyone looking for dog walkers! more

Piece of mind for your best friend! 1/26/2010

I can not say enough good things about pawsitive actions pet care & training! My puggle is about to turn 4 years old and Rich has been with us since the beginning. For those of you that know, puggles are absolutely adorable but as a breed they can be extremely difficult. My puppy was no exception to this rule. Rich trained him and worked with me and after we completed his 8 week training course, my puggle transformed right before my very eyes into a sweet, obedient, calm dog. My puggle is now an amazing companion and part of our family and I owe it all to Rich. We have also used the boarding, and playgroup services that Pawsitive Actions provides and again I have been so pleased. Rich is reliable, prompt, and passionate about what he does. I travel frequently and never worry one bit as i know he is in good hands with Rich. Easily the best choice in Boston! Pros: Best dog walking / training by far more

Boston's Best By Far 1/18/2010

The owner is a certified dog trainer with years of experience who knows how dogs behave and interact. Unlike other walking services who take dogs out to relieve themselves and then stand around on a corner or in a park, Pawsitive Actions actually walks your dog, and your dog will come home exercised and happy. The owner personally trains and supervisors his helpers. At the dog park, he makes sure all the dogs play, and he knows how to avert potential problem interactions. His training techniques work wonders, and if you are going away, you can't leave your pet in better hands. My dog loves him, and yours will too! I highly recommend Pawsitive Actions. I cannot imagine having anyone else care for my baby. There aren't enough stars for Pawsitive Actions! Pros: Knowledgeable, Credentialed, Reliable, Caring, Personalized Cons: Absolutely no negatives more
