We love it at Paws Claws and Hooves! The facility is very clean, and I love that the owners are involved with the everyday operation. Such a nice change from other places with oodles of employees with limited knowledge. Their fenced play areas are a great amenity to those who prefer a safe open play area instead of the community dog parks. The drop off and pick up times are a bit constraining, but well worth the inconvenience. more

Poor communication, rude, irritable. We booked ahead and were told to get our dog up-to-date on vet-recommended shots. We immediately took off to the vet to get up-to-date as our dog was just hitting his 3-year birthday. We were told $25 per day. more

Wonderful service / Sara Bandit's favorite place 6/25/2010

My beloved Pomi passed x-mas eve..it was a very sad time, I called Nancy at Paws to make arrangements for my Foxy. When I dropped her off, Nancy was there and helped me grieve and listen to stories about Foxy, she was very, patient, provided a calming presence, caring and gentle with myself and my Foxy. When I picked up her ashes, Nancy was there to provided comfort, laughter as i talked about Foxy and her crazy pomi stunts. Not only do they provide care when your pet passes, they also provide great care for cats and dogs. My two boxer enjoy their play time at their facility. Their play areas are well kept and fully fenced, I feel very comfortable with Sara and Bandit running wild, I do not fear that they will escape, they are well looked after and cared for. Sara and Bandit know when they are on the way to their favorite day care, they bounce from side to side of the care...making excited whining noises, the moment my tires hit the driveway they are eager to get out and play..run and romp with their friends. I would recommend Paws Claws & Hooves pet boarding to all pet owners looking for caring owners and a lovely facility. Pros: Pat and Nancy are wonderful caretakers best kept secret Cons: None by dogs love going to see Pat and Nancy more

Very Rude..NEVER AGAIN! 5/6/2010

Worked for them for 2 days. Husband was very rude and disrespectful to me on my first day. If something was done out of order he would just yell at you. Thought second day would have been better....it was worse. I hated to leave the dogs ..but not the owners. more

Beware! 3/21/2009

I reserved a week for our dog and was told of the $50 deposite because of Spring break. I was told that it would be applied to the total at the end. Great...no problem and sent the check. Do not recall that I was told it was refundable, but I might have honestly missed that part of the conversation. Trying to give benefit to Nancy. I called 10 days prior to my reservation explaining that we need to cancel and was told the deposite is non-refundable. I explained that I don't recall that and don't have in writing. She was EXTREMELY rude refusing to give me my money back. Yes, I was angry and asked if she could see my side that she now has 10 days to fill that and said that she has already turned people away. Hmmmm. I told her that I am unhappy and will not refer clients to them and might just have to do a review on her poor customer service. Nancy then hung up on me. Yes, not even a goodby. If the owner treats customers this way, I can only imagine how they work with pets. Nancy was extremely hostile and rude. I would NOT recommend this boarding facility Cons: extremely rude customer service more

Best Kennel in the SW Metro! 5/13/2008

This place is great, we went to the Hound Dog Pet Hotel and Spa in Eden Prairie for years and got a couple of good references on Paws Claws and Hoofs from some friends and gave it a try. It is very clean and run by people who absolutely love animals, they have a 2 acre play area for dogs to run in and several different Kennel/Run setups for what ever type of dog you have. Our dog loves the place and we feel much better about leaving him now that we have found Paws Claws and Hoofs. Pros: Great staff of animal lovers and big 2 acre play area Cons: It's not cheap but I feel it's worth the price and pick up and drop off hours are limited more

The very best pet boarding and services around! 3/26/2007

My wife and I have been taking our pets to Paws, Claws and Hooves for some 10 years now and can honestly say they are truly wonderful. As an advocate of pets and animals as well as a volunteer of some 12 years with the Greater West Metro Humane Society, formerly Wright County Humane Society, to say I am picky would be an understatement when it comes to the welfare of our pets. We have 6 cats and now 2 dogs since the passing of our beloved Coco, and have relied on Nancy and Pat as well as the staff to provide a safe well managed environment for our four legged friends. They provide a sparkling clean well lit facility with a true sense of love and caring for the many charges in trusted to them. Here pets have the opportunity to socialize in a safe and secure surrounding and the large exersise areas make going outdoors a highlight to our pets stay. After losing Coco, there was nobody else we would have trusted with her cremation other than Pat and Nancy. Their chapel is beautiful and offered us a quiet place to reflect before the difficult drive home with Coco's remains. This place is a 10+ and a great choice for anyones pet(s). Pros: High quality of care and services. more

Good value, bad customer service 8/29/2005

If you work during the day, be prepared to take time off your job to pick-up or drop off your pet. GOOD: Inexpensive dog boarding. Good selection of services BAD Limited pick-up times. Not good for dogs that do not react well to be surrounded other animals. Main dog kennel area houses 20-30 pets at once. Unfriendly staff, terrible customer service. Dog walk area is very small. Owner unwilling to accommodate needs of patrons/customers for drop-offs and pickup times. more
