Brought my Rotti in to be groomed- no problems my dog really liked going and came out looking great- place was clean and the staff friendly- would recommend to my friends- price was very reasonable- great place thanks more

My cat contracted feline distemper after attending this groomer. The owners response? Nothing. I have left multiple messages. I couldn't warn people away from Pawfessionals fast enough! more

I have tried going by there a few times only to find out the hours they list are not their real hours. I understand it's a cheaper place to get your animal groomed but what's the point when you can't even get in? I tried calling once and a woman named ""Kim"" answered and got rather defensive when I asked what was going on with their hours. I won't try again. I'll just go back to Petco...at least they have enough business ethic to be there when they say they will! more

The facility was filthy! My dog came home with mange! more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Kim was awful, the staff was ok but didn't listen to anything I had to say, and my minpin came home stressed and hardly looked as if he'd been groomed. I do not recommend this facility at all! more

I bring my long haired cat in for a lion cut a few times a year and Kim is great every time. Does a wonderful job with the haircut and treats him well. He is never skiddish afterwords and even seems more relaxed and relieved. Love her and the service she provides! more

We began boarding our dog there two years ago after asking our vet for a referral. She and the staff are FANTASTIC and our dog just loves it there! It is one of only a few places that she goes in and is comfortable...I am a believer that dogs sense these things. \r \r They love her like their own and multiple walks daily at no extra charge is awesome! At other boarding places we were quoted one price for boarding and an additional charge for hand walks....they have it all included already and are still more than reasonable! \r \r We now board her once a year and also have her groomed there as well. I took my toy poodle to a bunch of different groomers. One in particular, was always scolding me for allowing my dog to be matted, plus she never cut my dog that way I asked. She just did whatever she felt like. Needless to say I didn't stick with that one. I tried several other places before I tried Pawfessional. After the first visit I knew I found the right groomer. She actually listened to what I wanted. I also discussed with her how hard it was to take care of my dogs fur on my own, she told me that was the nature of the poodle and not to worry about it. My dog now goes faithfully to Pawfessional and I am always pleased with how he looks when I pick him up. Also, I love how my dog is always greeted when I bring him in, he's treated like the respectable customer he is. You can tell that everyone cares about animals and what they are doing. Before opening Pawfessional the owner Kim was the head veterinary technician at a local animal hospital, so she is trained in animal care and health issues, and is able to care for special need pets (geriatric, arthritic, etc.)\r \r In addition to grooming, she also does anl gland expressions and teeth cleaning, and provides boarding and pet sitting service.\r \r I have 4 dogs and really appreciate being able to bring them to a groomer who is a certified vet. technician and is able/qualified to give me the heads up on any health issues (teeth, etc.).\r \r I had a health issue with one of my beagles and needed to get a second opinion from a different vet and Kim provided excellent advice in choosing another vet.\r \r She also does a great job grooming and caring for my dogs and I would highly recommend pawfessional. I've had bad experiences with groomers....groomers whom my friends take their dogs to religiously and swear by. My biggest complaint with most is that they insist on ignoring my requests....I do not like my dog's hair cut except in areas where it helps keep him clean. Twice I've had him leave the groomers looking suspiciously like Ringo Starr in the late 60s. Kim at Pawfessional listened carefully to my requests, and called twice during his appointments with suggestions (such as shaving his belly, which was very helpful) to make absolutely sure it was okayed before just grabbing the clippers. She also treats my dog with affection, does a painstakingly thorough job on his coat, is friendly and welcoming, and charges very reasonable rates. I've been in grooming salons that are much more posh, but I personally care more about the result than the ambience. Unfortunately I happen to live about 300 miles away, so I make sure to schedule appointments when I'm visiting my parents in the area. For me, the peace of mind is worth the trip and the wait.
