I had just moved into a new apartment when the washer broke on a Friday night. I called Paul's on a Saturday morning, and David was there by noon that day. He gave us a quote, was honest and accurate, and came back Monday with the part we needed to fix the washer. Unlike other companies I called (most of whom didn't answer on a Saturday), he gave me a quote over the phone, and really knew what he was talking about. He was friendly and fast, and my favorite thing was how informed he kept us through the whole process, so we knew what was going on and what our options were. Not the most glorious job, but one David from Paul's Service clearly take pride in. We called the big company which could not be at our home till next Monday. We simply could not wait that long. Our Whirlpool front load washer was full of water, we called another company listed and was given a quote which was quiet high. We were told that the water pump had to be replaced. After doing some more research we found Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair, there exceptional customer service was evident from the very beginning. David took his time on the phone, the company that was at our home did not even open up the machine as we came to find that this is essential for diagnosis. We made an appointment, arriving time, we come to find that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the pump, rather there was a sock stuck in it. David and Oscar were timely, professional, clean and courteous. They removed and replaced the part on my washer and also checked out my dryer. David said that my dryer was very clean as it was, and therefore didn't need further cleaning. He added that doing unnecessary work can sometimes bring about other issues. He could have easily gone through the motions of cleaning my dryer and charged me for it, but he didn't. So I ended up paying less than what I had been quoted. Our front load washer quit working last month and we needed it fixed pronto. Sears quoted us 6 days to get someone out, so we called around and Paul's Service made an appointment with us first thing the next morning. If they say they'll be out between 10 and 12, make sure you're ready to receive them at 9:59! At first it seemed our motor had quit and they tried replacing it, but when that one also didn't work they figured out that the control board was failing and arranged to come back the next morning with the new part.
