Outstanding Pizza!! 7/15/2009

Yesterday was the first time I had tried Paul's Chicago Pizza. How I missed this gem of a restaurant is beyond me. This was without a doubt the BEST pizza I have EVER had in my entire life. The crust was perfect - thin and crispy. The toppings were delicious and generously applied. The value is outstanding. If you haven't tried Paul's yet, you are missing out! Yummy 4/4/2009

Discovered Paul's about 3 years ago and have been singing it's praises ever since. Even my husband (non-chicagoan) trys to steer me near Paul's whenever possible. Love the take and bake. Best Pizza in Florida 11/1/2008

If you grew up in Chicago, you will know that Paul's is no imposter. It took us 15 years of living in the sunshine state to find real Chicago style pizza and you know what we mean - paper thin crust cooked crisp but lite, sweet tomato sauce, just the right amount of real cheese, cut into squares. This is NOT chain pizza or deep dish pizza or all the other types of pizza people NOT from Chicago think is Chicago style pizza. Sorry Windy City Pizza and Giordano's but you guys are not Paul's. This is the real deal. You will love it as we drive 40 minutes one-way for it as often as we can!!!! We have lived in West Palm, Boca, Jupiter, Fort Myers, Tallahassee, Brandon, and Miami. The closest to Paul's was the old broken down County Line Pizza back in 1989 on the Palm Beach Martin County line which moved south past Juno Beach into a hidden strip mall and the rest is history. Excellent Pizza 10/20/2008

As someone who doesn't like to ""wing"" it when going out to eat I rely heavily on other peoples reviews.As Paul's had several great reviews I decided to go there on a Sunday afternoon. My friends the previous posts were right on, the pizza was excellent. I ordered a small peperoni pie, the crust was superb and the sauce was excellent. bad customer service 8/7/2008

I ordered a pizza with a coupon from entertainment book, after I placed the order they said it wasn't good on delivery...it never stated that on the coupon and should havde been disclosed on the coupon. As a manager myself I would have made an exception and accepted the coupon. Instead my husband had to go and pick up the pizza just so we could use the coupon. Lack of good judgement if you ask me. I love their pizza but will think twice next time we want a pizza and they are on every corner. more

Best Chicago Style in Florida 2/7/2007

As a newly arrived Chicagoan to the Tampa/St. Pete area, I was bemoaning the lack of quality pizza, when lo and behold, a quick city search found me Paul's Chicago Pizza. SAVED !! This pizza is authentic Chicago thin crust (I have not had the deep dish yet). The sauce has just a slight sweetness to it, and the sausage.....mama mia !! Great Chi-town pizza in Clearwater, very good and inexpensive lunch bufft and they serve Vienna Hot Dogs with sport peppers, bright green relish and poppy seed bun... the real thing. This place is awesome and he is cheating himself by having only one location in the southwest part of Tampa. Put in a location in Land O'Lake/Lutz!!! more

If one ever tastes Pauls' pizza, they will definitely compare every other pizza to it that they ever eat. It is full of great flavor,perfect thin crust, and not too saucy, not too cheesey, just El' Perfecto from start to finish.A trip to Clearwater without Pauls' pizza is like glasses with no lenses.Try it and you will be writing a review of your own. Being born and raised in Chicago I really missed a good thin crust Chicago pizza since I moved here in 1985. Yes, real Chicago pizza has a thin crust, despite what people think. But last year I found Paul's and go there weekly. All my friends agree. He flys in the best Italian sausage from Chicago and uses only the best mix of real cheeses. Also has other Italian specialties and the best Cheese Garlic Bread around. more
