Paul Mitchell the School Green Bay

I had an appointment for my hair color and high lights and a french manicure for my nails. The appointment was for 1pm. I received a friendly greeting upon my arrival which was 12:45. I only had a 5-10 wait before being taken in for my services. Kaitlyn was very friendly and explained everything to me that she was doing. I was very disappointed when it came time to do my nails. The white color was too thick and clumpy to use. Kaitlyn showed me 4 colors that she thought I would like. (I had told her that it was my 28th anniversary and what I would be wearing) We decided on a color and did my nails. Sadly there was no time for them to dry; the place was closing. Kaitlyn tried spraying them with an alcohol product and used her hair dryer to speed up the drying time. Sadly when I got home I had to remove my color; it was too scuffed up. I really liked the service I received and the price and will continue to go there. I will make sure I have plenty of time for my hair and nails. more

I have been going to this school for past 3 years. In that time, most visits were favorable. Lately I have gotten some inexperienced hairdressers and they have really botched my haircuts. I also took my 90 year old mother there and they cut her hair so short she was not able to get a perm for 4 months due to hair being so short. I have seen a change in managers and maybe the downfall is there. Not sure if I will give them another chance or not. more

I have been using Paul Mitchell for the past 3 years and I can honestly say that I have never had better service anywhere. The staff and students take time to meet your needs and offer friendly advice on any haircare questions or concerns you have. They also do the best with colour that I have ever encountered. more

This school has an amazing culture, a brilliant and talented staff, and a top notch curriculum. As a student, I am exceptionally pleased with the efforts our Learning Leaders put into my education on a daily basis. I am so thankful this school is guiding me towards my future career in cosmetology. Paul Mitchell techniques and products are excellent to work with. My peers are also amazingly talented and provide outstanding services to our fantastic guests. A+!!!! more

Let this review serve as a warning not to trust this particular school with your hair color / cut, or your time. My experience was negative at the Paul Mitchell school due to a chemical hair color treatment being long overprocessed, resulting in extreme damage to the hair cuticle. The color result was not as expected, and no remedy was offered to repair the damage to the hair such as a conditioning treatment. The hair cut done was also substandard and not as requested. My garment worn, supposed to be protected by a cape while there, was marked with hair color highlight product. When a complaint about the problems was mentioned to the staff it became clear that customer satisfaction is rather irrelevant due to the authorization having been signed for the students to work for you. No remedy was offered for damage to my clothing or reimbursement for dry cleaning required. To add further insult to the damage you have there, Paul Mitchell school then requires payment in full for the opportunity they had to practice experimenting on your hair, whether they damaged it or not. No one seems to have any authority to make any remedy to the customer's problems or complaint. It is taken for granted that you will pay them their fees no matter how badly they screw up, knowing full well that you will have to pay someone else again to try to redo what damage they did with the substandard services done on your hair. Don't expect any follow up after you made a compaint, such as a call to apologize or make remedy from them. Caveat emptor ! Don't make the mistake that I made of trusting the services at this place even though it appears to be a classy and feng shui building and has nice lighting. more
