My husband and I had never had life insurance. We don't have kids, and never thought much about it. Until a friend recently passed away unexpectantly and left his wife with a financial mess. We called Paul Donnelly and he was very flexible on meeting with us. He thoroughly explained all of our options and helped us make a decision that made sense for us. I highly recommend Paul Donnelly at State Farm. \r \r I recently switched from Farmers Insurance to State Farm and was sorry I waited so long to make the change. In the 20 years I was with Farmers Insurance, I never once spoke to my agent. Everything was always handled by assistants and my experience was never personable. Little did I know, I also wasn't appropriately covered.\r \r My new agent, Paul Donnelly, personally met with me in his office to review my past coverage, took time to understand my current assets and financial situation, and put together recommendations for car, house, life insurance, and financial services that provide me the best value, coverage, and investment options for my personal situation. \r \r The customer service I received was outstanding and I now feel better educated about the coverage and services that I purchased. Been with Phil since 2005 and it has been a horrible experience throughout. Very unehthical business practices!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! They were recommended through my real eastate agent so I thought I was walking into a great company. I should have known better!! State Farm is no different than any cheap insurance provider on the market...for this type of service, you are better off paying a cheaper premium with another company - the service will be the same - crappy. Phil Price and now the new guy that took over this year...denied every claim I placed for my cars and home - FOLKS, THEY COVERED NOTHING IN MY POLICY!!! They fend you off to the claims department who deny everything. Be very careful if you relocate - I just learned they will overcharge you - very unethical business practice - as longtime loyal customers whom they gladly deducted our funds every month - you will be pushed into the lion's den - you will receive no gratitude at the end....Be Careful. more

I will acknowledge that State Farm may not be lower rates than the cut throat competitive insurance market, but I can tell you I sleep better at night knowing that I have State Farm and more importantly Phil watching out for me. I have compared rates and I can tell you after more than a decade as a valued customer with an agent that makes sure you get the best policy for you at the lowest rate State Farm can offer, I have not lost a cent and have better service than I have had from low end service providers. Phil and his team always look for the best way for me to meet my needs and still save money and long term customers ARE rewarded by State Farm. Phil is a good man as well. I was with State Farm for almost three years for auto insurance. They kept refusing to cut down my insurance premium even with good driving history. When I finally did change over to a better agency and cancelled my policy with them, they actually withdrew money from my account for the next month also!!! I mentioned it to them and they refunded the money....minus a substantial amount, saying it was ME who had given them the wrong dates. I tried to talk to them, and they were just really rude. I would never recommend Phil Price to anyone in the Flint/ Grand Blanc area. more
