(I wrote this a while back, and my review hasn't changed, but I wanted to update that I went last week 12/8/05, and there is a sign on the window that says they are applying for a liquor license. . . )
Two words: Tacos Albanil
(with a side of guac)
After living in Northern Mexico, this is the closest I can come to the real deal in Denver (and the meat here is better than the real deal).
The other things on the menu are good -- this is fabulous. I make my friends order this on their first time there.
I crave this restaurant between visits, and I go as often as I can. It isn't showy, and if you are into ""fine dining"", you probably won't like it, but if you are a foodie, don't miss this restaurant!
Pros: Fabulous Food, Authentic, Great Value
