Ten years ago I brought a 2 months URI affected, ringworm covered, flea covered 4Lbs runt of the litter girl kitty to the only vet I could go to by taxi from WSU. This cat had everything possible for the next year and I visited Patterson hospital by cab twice a month on average. Dr. Graham was relentless in helping me save this kitten and helping me not give up. In the end every taxi cab knew the crazy French prof going to the vet from the University apartments, but before her second birthday, she had become a splendid and healthy blue point silky cat and she was well enough to have 4 babies, 3 of them survived and became gorgeous. I kept them all and Tofa is 10 years old today with me and surrounded by her 3 healthy daughters: Vanille, Clea and Fripouille.
Pros: everything: dedication, commitment, research, respect for animals, tolerance for humans
Cons: none
