My water heater went out and Pats Plumbing fixed it the same day that it broke. The gentleman who fixed it replaced it in a timely manner. The price was excellent and what I really appreciate is that when he left I could not even tell he had been there because he had done a great job of cleaning up after himself. I use this company and recommend it to my friends. more

I was having issues with my kitchen sink, it would'nt drain all the way so I called every plumber in the phone book and they all gave me the ""run around"" except for Pats Plumbing they sent a plumber out in a timely manner and for a great price my sink was draining like it was new! more

Called in to get a replacement part for Flushmate Toilet. They are one of the two area's licensed distributor's for Flushmate. I knew which part I needed and what was wrong with the toilet. They told me "" We don't sell parts directly to the public. We will need to come out to see what's wrong with the toilet for 38 dollars"" They come out and request 370 dolars to replace the part ( 540 dollars to replace the entire assembly & 1200 dollars to replace the entire toilet). To top it off, they don't even have the part with them eventhough I read them the part number, model number and serial number of the toilet. I went online to the official flushmate website and they were charging 9.76 dollars for the part. Please DO NOT do business with them. They are crooked thieving people who are trying to rip you off at every chance they can get. It was the worse 38 dollars and waste of my time I ever spent. more

I'm not going to get in to a lengthy dissertation. I'll just say that as a former loyal customer of Pat's Plumbing for nearly 20 years that we are done with them. Simply put they charged us $700, fixed nothing, and left us with a hole in our family room wall. They talked down to my wife, lied about commitments, and the owner (Linda) won't return our call. Any way, we will never hire them again and we are going to to tell everyone we know about our bad experience with Pat's Plumbing. more

I was told $39 for him to show up. Fine. I was unable to be there at the rental property. I got another call from him that said it would be $350 to locate and dig up the septic tank. I agreed to that. He called me 15 minutes later and said my septic tank was full and needed pumping. He was done. I was charged $625.00 for less than 1 hrs work. I called to get the bill adjusted. No Go. more

My wife and I returned from Christmas vacation to find a leak in the garage due to freezing. We called Pats Plumbing out and they arrived within 2 hours!!! The technician Jesse was very friendly and walked us through the process of the repair and gave us a few options on the repair as well. When he showed us the cost of the repair I wasnt surprised one bit as you get what you pay for, and what i mean by that is i would have not gone with them if it wasnt for Jesse's knowledge and strong trust we had built with him. When the work was completed had cleaned up after himself and even swept the floor in the area he was working to make sure nothing was left behind. All in all we are very pleased with our choice in Pats, even more so in Jesse. We even sent him home with a care package for him and his wife as a token of our appreciation. Pros: Very clean and professional Cons: A tad pricey but you pay for good work more

Now that I look back on the scenerio felt like they had a plan of attack before arriving: First one guy in a Pat's Plumbing truck shows up. He sets the table I'm not that experienced in Septic Systems. Our experienced guy will be here in a few minutes. He shows up in a big Black unmarked Truck. The smooth talker. Have to admit he sounded like he knew alot. After they reviewed my system they huddled up & then gave me a estimate of around $3000 for a new pump, floats & pump the tank. Have to admit I was taken back a little [actually alot]. I asked for details such as material costs & labor time in hours. They would not share anything other than offering ""we do the work & get paid by the job"". Was a bit uncomfortable as they had everything pulled apart. Partially felt like lets get the job done. The better part of me said let's get a 2nd opinion this damn price is way out of line. I could tell they were not happy by the looks on there faces. The smooth talker knew they had one shot & one shot only. I made the comment if another estimate is close I may call you guys later. He knew better. In short received a 2nd estimate by phone for less than 1/2 half Pat's quote. A honest guy came by later that evening. The pump had a rock lodged in it & was not bad after all. He said the floats are fine & the tank in fact does not need pumping. End result $325. The septic sytem works great & found a new guy that I can trust to work on it if any issues down the road. Bottom line always have a 2nd estimate. Pros: NONE THAT I COULD SEE Cons: OVERCHARGE more

Had some pipes bust under the house. called these guys, they showed up promptly the next day but when they showed me the estimate i almost choked on a bit of apple. $3000!!! So I looked online and saw all these reviews and thought i might get another opinion. he still charged me the $40 to come out here, but when i got a rough estimate from a plumber friend, the $40 dollars didnt much matter. My friend said it should cost somewhere between $1600 and $2000, depending on how long it takes the guy. Thanks for your reviews, saved me $1000!!! I urge you all to please please research before you let business' like these take you for all your worth. Pros: Nice guy, willing to do extra work. Cons: way, way overpriced. more

I had a leaky bathroom faucet. Pat's Plumbing missed the first appointment when I had taken 4-hours off work to be available to monitor the estimate and resulting work. Pros: Advertise as woman-owned business offering perfection Cons: RIDICULOUS prices, shameless reliance on ""but you said OK"" more

I just had to write a review after I have been hearing their ads on the radio -- be warned. We had an experience with them shortly after we moved to this area. We called them based on the yellow pages since we were not familiar with plumbers in the area. We had a slight leak in an elbow joint. They said they charged $40 for the service call and then quoted over $500 for the repair. Not knowing any better, I authorized the work. However, the plumber scorched the rubber coating on an electrical wire near the plumbing leak when he was soldering. When I showed him, he just shrugged his shoulders. Then when he left, I went to double check his work, and the leak was back! Had to call the company to have him return and finish the job. My husband was furious that they had done such a lousy job -- that and the $500+ they charged us for 30 minutes worth of work. When my husband called Pat's Plumbing, he was referred to the owner, who was a very tough as nails and unfriendly woman. She basically told him too bad...and if we tried to cancel the credit card charge, they would take us to small claims court. Nice, eh? Certainly no concern for repeat business or customer satisfaction. I admit I was foolish to ever authorize the work but for everyone else -- be warned. Pat's Plumbing quoted my 90 year old mother in law $500 to replace her 50 gallon electric hot water tank. The job took less than 2 hours and they presented her with a bill of $2798.00! When she was hesitant to pay they told her if she did not pay right now her credit would be ruined. In checking with other REPUTABLE plumbing companies they all expressed an outrage at this usurious charge and said they would charge no more than $800 all inclusive for the same installation. Pat's Plumbing came to my house after refusing to quote me a bid over the phone because they said they only bid per job and until someone could look at my job, they couldn't quote me. Well, when their representative got to my house, he interviewed me, didnt even look at my toilet, and sent his helper out to get a book, and quoted me $500 to unclog my toilet. I was stupid, because I was lead to beleive the job was going to be a difficult one. The job was done in 15 minutes, and then when I protested how much the charge was after it turned out to be such an easy job, they just ignored me. I got screwed, and their website lies. They claim to be ""Morally ran"" but they aren't. They tried to offer me $150 back if I signed some legal papers saying I was satisfied, but I refused. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. If they come to your house and you don't like their price, dont pay them a dime, throw them off your property. You are not required to pay anybody to come to your house and bid a job since they wont quote it over the phone. more

Replacing the drain elbow and gasket on my older toilet was quoted to me at $1000. The drain elbow alone was quoted at $471. The part was $20 at Home Depot. I asked how much they would charge to install a toilet I bought at Home Depot. $600. I think not. I wish I hadn't wasted the $40 plumbers charge just to show up. And my time.
