Sorry ... can't recommend 2/12/2009

We signed our contract for an All-Season Sunroom mid-April 2008 and now - 10 months & $40K later, we are STILL waiting for our finished sunroom. We were PROMISED a completed sunroom no later than 1st of July (didn't happen). Extremely negative experience starting with the salesman who sold us something he could not deliver, failing to communicate with us and when we pushed back, he went radio silent - haven't heard from him again. Our contractor, too, was the epitomy of UNreliability, showing up to work only sporadically - leaving tools, lumber, glass panels, saw horses, etc. strewn all over the back lawn - never saw the same work crew twice. Contractor disappeared (went AWOL) in mid-July and we have not seen hide nor hair of him since. The manager and lead project manager had to finish up the trim work themselves in order to collect progress payment #3 (mid-August). At that same time we had a leaky roof, moldy drywall and a phone circuit that had shorted out (rust); the manager gave us his WORD he would make good on the roof, etc. ... he has since terminated and manager #2 has also given us his WORD Patio Enclosures will make good on this deal - will blog again as to the outcome.\r \r We agree with djdolathe, the materials appear to be of good quality, but - truthfully - the customer care experience has been appalling. \r \r Pros: The patio glass and framing materials appear to be of good quality. Cons: VERY poor customer care, bad business practices, places profit above customer needs more

Be prepared for delays and lots of waiting! 12/5/2008

Company literature, salesman and contractor estimated completion of project from signing contract to completion to be 6-8 weeks. 14 weeks later, they finally STARTED the job. We were not notified of delays and instead had to track down the salesman and contractor to find out about start dates and delays. Once construction started, the salesman, contractor and workers all said it would be completed by end of week. At end of week, it was not quite 1/2 done and we learned of further week or more delay due to a custom window order. Do not trust their time line or estimation of job completion dates. They've missed it by a mile. They are also bad about contacting customers regarding delays. We've had to call them 9 out of 10 times. Very disappointing business practices. We only hope the quality of workmanship and materials will be more reliable. We hope to be able to write a more favorable review when it's finally completed. Pros: quality of materials and workmanship appear to be good Cons: Minimal follow up, minimal communication, excessive delays more
