Good food, salads need help and butter the bread 10/1/2010

Pretty good for fast food, we had trouble with our order when we ordered over the phone. Got charged twice and had a hard time getting credit back from the company. All in all ok, salad was a little lame, and please put some butter on the bread. more

Good Food, Sad Salad 2/2/2010

I've eaten at Pasta Pronto several times over the past few years. The pasta dishes and sandwiches that I've tried have all been good. But their garden salad consistently gets an F- in my book. A few dried-up pieces of yellow and white iceberg lettuce does NOT a salad make. Come on guys, use the green stuff and save the white part for the trash. Wonderful Italian! 11/19/2008

Pasta Pronto serves up some of the best italian food in all of Portland. It's warm and inviting and you rarely find that from a small place tucked away in a strip-mall, but I can assure you that you will never be dissapointed. My husband and I go there on a regular basis and have never been dissapointed! more

Never a Bad Meal 9/22/2007

My wife and I commented the other day while dining there, that we've never had anything at this restaurant that wasn't fantastic. It's fun to go in and see what the specials are, some which do not even have an italian theme. Their mealballs melt in you rmouth and the sauces are the best I've found anywhere. The italian bread is fresh and sometimes still warm. If you've never been here, you have to try it. Not big on atmosphere but the food is fantastic and afordable. Pros: Food comes our fairly fast. Cons: Can be a bit busy and cramped during normal dining our hours. more

Always excellent food at Past Pronto! We've been going for years & have never tired of the menu. The staff is nice and always welcoming. A great place - highly recommend!!! Pros: great food & service Cons: decor could use some updating more

Great Food - Friendly Service - Excellent Value 12/25/2006

A fantastic lunch spot. I've never had to wait for a table, the service is fast and friendly, the ambiance is cafe-esque, and the food is incredible. Did I mention the food? It's incredible. My tried and true dish is the roasted garlic sauce on linguini with a meatball, but if they have their Turkey torte, you MUST order it. I've also been told that their specialty salads are also fantastic, but I can't bring myself to order a salad when they have so many fantastic pasta dishes. Pros: FOOD - FOOD - FOOD more

Great lasagne 11/13/2006

This place has great food. The ambiance isn't great and the seating is crowded but if you get food to go it is great. The deserts are good as well. Pros: Good eats Cons: Not alot of seating more

Delicious fresh food. 6/26/2006

I have eaten there twice a month since discovering this place five months ago. It is a casual but cozy atmosphere. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. The food is excellent. I still have not ordered off of the regular menu because the daily specials look, sound, and have all been delicious. They have a good wine selection and a great kids menu. I haven't tried the desserts, but other people who have gone to dinner with us have and loved them. Its a great treasure. more

Sublime, heavenly, homemade 12/5/2002

This place is so awesome. I discovered it 5 years ago, and go there at least 1-2 times per month. It is a tiny little cafe, where you order at the register and they bring you your food. The food is so good, it's kind of hard to believe. The WA county blue ribbon salad is my favorite. We have not once in 5 years ordered something we didn't like. They are very nice, friendly, and their homemade bread is about the best anywhere. Try this place!!!!! more

Pasta Pronto is an adorible escape from reality, with decorated walls that transport you back to the old country. The food is absolutely amazing, rich and full in flavor with both vegetarian and meat dishes. If presentation is important, you will be sweetly surprised. The portions are fantastic in comparison to price. I reccomend a visit to the restroom before you leave, the artwork will take your breath away. Pros: hardly ever crowded, family sized takeout, friendly staff Cons: still tightly spaced, don't deliver, bad location more
