PassionFish --- Old Listing Long Gone 4/14/2009

PassionFish is long gone. 2009 brings the return of Saltwater Grille for the second season on the Atlantic Ocean of Westhampton Beach's barrier beach on Dune Road at the Dune Deck Hotel. Wonderful outdoor setting with private cabana dining seating for your party on the outdoor deck overlooking the Dune Deck Pool, Outdoor Bar and stunning Atlantic Ocean. City Search listings appear to be antiquated and useless for this community. Run and operated during the summer months only by the owners of John Scott's. Pros: 2009 - This is Saltwater Grille Now !!! 2nd Season Cons: City Search is not accurate --- PassionFish Gone more

Simply A Fantastic Place 7/17/2006

Finally a restaurant that you can find great service and high quality food. Every dish was tasty and prepared with attention to details. The waiters are professional and seems like they have trained the staff extremely well. From the greeting of the Hostess, graceful & sincere, unlike the other Place that had the same spot a while ago and now has moved into town (where she, the hostess, is a total fake) to the time the Matre'd bids you goodnight with a re- asserted "thank you for coming" We have told & will continue to tell everyone about this treasure on the beach. more

Editorial
  • In Short
Chef Tom Schaudel continues reeling in the East End restaurant scene (having helmed kitchens at AngelFish, CoolFish and RockFish at Finley's). Beautiful dune views stretch out from the brightly colored main dining room and its accompanying outdoor deck, while the upper level bar overlooks ocean blues through wraparound windows. The fusion seafood menu showcases local catches with a dressed-up raw bar and upscale entrees, such as a chipotle and guacamole-topped soft-shell crab and pan-seared flounder with lobster fricassee.
