They have tasty food, great prices, good servings and the ambience. Food is like home made and delicious. Highly recommend this to others.

Awesome Food 7/12/2011

Our food came out on time and was prepared just right. I would recommend this place to a hungry person the portions are huge! Service as ok but the food made up for it! I more

Good, fun place. 11/18/2010

Many great menu options but the bacon-wrapped-steak and flourless chocolate dessert would be my picks. Location near the shopping center is also a plus if you want to check out the stores before or after your meal. more

Great Italian 9/25/2010

I love to take my family to Pascuccis. The food is wonderful, the location is great, and the service is pretty good. Sometimes at night the service can get a little slow however, I think its due to the fact that they are jam packed everynight! Talk to any local and they will tell you that Pascuccis is a great place to frequent! more

wow...very tasteless food 3/28/2009

My husband & I went to Santa Barbara to celebrate our anniversary. I read all the great reviews about Pascucci and couldn't wait to go. Well, to say the least we were horribly disappointed. Pros: good bread Cons: horrible pasta dishes-no seasonings being used here more

Great place for lunch 2/6/2009

The salads are great. I usually order a half salad, combined with the bread its a perfect lite lunch. Pros: bread is amazing, good service, large menu Cons: can be crowded for dinner more

Rude Hostess and crappy seating. 2/5/2008

Well, we got seated promptly... in the back at a really small table. We moved ourselves to a booth that was in a half empty room assuming there would be no problem with that. I guess the hostess was not ok with that anyways, so already steaming she seats us somewhere else... In the smallest booth ever, with a half-ass curtain that was right next to my face, and I could not move my right arm due to it being so cramped. I then ate a piece of the bread to start off with, it was pretty good I'll admit. But I left after about 30 seconds of that because of being so uncomfortable. When I left, the hostess looked at me and my fiancee walking out and failed to even ask a question like "" is something wrong?"" etc... Just looked and let us walk out. I found the situation annoying and disrespectful. I will not return. Pros: Good bread Cons: Service more

Below Average Pasta 11/7/2007

The seating time took awhile but considering it was a busy night. Our waitress was nice and prompt but didn't take our orders correctly even after repeating it to us. The cooks then made the most bland fettucinne dish I have ever had, it topped macaroni grill as the worst for me! After I told the waitress that it was really bland, she said ""oh it's because you only ordered fettucinne, it is naturally a bland dish"" I was shocked to hear her say that. Never in my life have I heard that. Fettecinne is a rich flavorful dish albeit too creamy for some but my favorite. She even said if you had ordered chicken it would have been better! I almost laughed but didn't say a word. the worst italian food i've ever had considering the money I paid. Pros: Band, Hostess Cons: Food was awful more

Great Bread 1/5/2007

The bread they serve for free is delicious. We had three baskets. The food is excellent. Service was very good. The place is very popular. We went around 3 pm and got a table right away, but almost every table was taken. more

More reasons to go back than not to.... 12/20/2006

As we were walking down state street we saw a long line outside of Pascucci. My boyfriend and I were deteremined to come back the next day and find out what it was all about. We were the first ones to arrive the next day on a Sunday morning, and as first time visitors were seated right in front of the fireplace. Wow talk about romantic seats! Their house garlic bread was soo good. However we still got appetizers and their tomato and mozzarella was just as great. I liked that their menu offered a sampler for many of their different dishes such as ravioli, appetizers, desserts, etc. This way when you're a first timer like us, you can try what they have and then come back for what you liked best. Anyway overall the entree dishes were not so bad. However for the affordable prices on their dishes everything was worth it. We had an appetizer, 2 drinks, and 2 entrees and the total came to around $32! If I lived in Santa Barbara I would definitely make this a lunch spot where I could get an affordable meal and continue with my shopping. Pros: Great Value Cons: It can get very crowded more

can be romantic 11/14/2006

The food is pretty good here but the ambience is the real draw, especially if you can snag one of the booths near the fireplace in the front room. The only drawback is the booths directly face each other so you're a little too close to the other couples. The room in the back is where they send most people; it's very noisy there though, the high ceilings and tile floors echo all the talking. This is probably the most popular Italian restaurant on State Street so I'd recommend making reservations if you can. more

Average 9/13/2006

Had lunch today @ Pascucci's. The service was very quick, almost too quick, but it was lunch so I can understand. My husband ordered the pizza which was very average. The dough was slightly sweet and nothing special. I had an ahi tuna panini. The ahi tuna claimed to be blackened, but really it was just cooked and rubbed with spices, in that order. It was on the same bread they bring out with the water, so that wasn't so special either. It was very affordable however, compared to other similar venues. Pizza and Pannini were about $9 each. Pros: quick service, great bread Cons: average food more

Great, great, great! 8/6/2006

Absolutely great italian food. Very intense, unlike many places in LA that are simply blend. Their garlic bread can make it for a meal - it's sooooo yummy!!! I had pasta with shrimps and everything was just perfecto. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting SB. Perhaps gets busy in the evening (we showed up at 5pm to beat the Saturday crowd), but there's so much to do on State St. while waiting, that I don't see that being any problem. Pros: Food, garlic bread, prices more

one of my fave restaurants in santa barbara 6/4/2006

i LOVE the garlic cheese bread that comes along with the dining. YUMMY!! i also love the pasta Bellagio. absolute fave! gets really crowded so its a good idea to make reservations or go early. gets especially busy on weekends. Pros: great food Cons: limited seats more

good food ruuined by bad service, rude staff 6/23/2005

good wine and appetizers. ok entrees. terrible service. would have to make request to waitstaff several times. nice patio on state street but staff took smoke breaks and had long loud phone conversations just feet from our table. ruined the ambience. would return for food if under different management. more

A great Italian restaurant OVERALL. 5/30/2005

Great Food, Busy Area 3/29/2004

This is in Paseo Nuevo Shopping Mall. It's busy and crowded. Off hours are best. The food is great. Check it out regardless of time, they can run half-empty some weekday lunch times. Pros: Great Food more

Service SUX!!! Not worth it at all. 7/6/2003

Food was not that great, waiters are totally rude and dishonest. Told us to come back so they can seat us outside, waiter didn't even remember us when we returned, and didn't keep his promise of giving us a big table outside. Told us a different story and pushed responsibility to manager. Refused to put together two dinky little tables so it would fit our party three, turned out we had to cram into 1 small table with no arm room. Took forever for the waiter to take our order, water and bread arrived 15 minutes later. Food was cold, NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Pros: None, None, and NONE! Cons: BAD SERVICE, COLD FOOD, FLIES EVERYWHERE more

yummy and cheap 1/18/2003

good food and very inexpensive. the rolls they give u while you wait are delicious and worth going there alone. Pros: local food used, low price, popular Cons: noisy, long waits more

Owner, Laura Knight has set a high standard of quality and yet her entrees are priced below market. Service is fast and yet not obtrussive. One is allowed to dine ans enjoy. The dishes are unique and a first rate presentation. You can not go wrong having lunch or dinner at Pascucci's...and if there is a line just put your name in and wait...you will not be disappointed. more
