The Parson's Table is great high-end dining from beginning to end. They have the freshest oysters I have ever had, such a fine filet mignon that it almost didn't require chewing, and an absolutely delicious chocolate mousse. It is a very neat building with the main portion of the restaurant, which contains the entrance, bar, and part of the dining area, set in an church built in 1885. It even has some beautiful stained glass windows. Despite the age of the building, it is not at all musty, nor does it tell its age with any other unpleasantries. Not to mention it is very clean and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted a classic southern meal or is just hungry for some great food.
