Parkview Terrace

Management was very enthusiastic about getting us into the apartment... however, the attitude did not carry over to our stay. Michelle's hours are 10-4 and she is never there, trying to get ahold of her is impossible. The apartment smelled like cat urine and old mexican food. At the end of our stay we were over charged and Bright Apartments (the owners) would not negotiate. I am very dissapointed in the complex and in the people running the business. There are much better places. I wish I could give a negative rating. more

Pros: Competitive prices (only place I can live alone and not completely use my paycheck on rent), quiet neighbors, good management In the Middle: Appliances are okay but not amazing, carpet is a bit stained, generally a somewhat cheap but adequate appearance Cons: Thin walls and squeaky floors. I live on the ground floor, and hear my neighbor whenever he walks around, whether its going for a midnight snack, his 5AM wakeup for work, or when he knocked boots with somebody at 3AM on Saturday morning. Each step is like ""squeak, squeak, squeak"". This has been mitigated by earplugs, but sometimes they fall out when I'm sleeping, leaving me vulnerable to the inevitable squeaks. Also, the ants appeared in February and have remained a companion since. Not a ton of them, but they are there. Bottom line: Good pricing, decent furnishings, and quiet neighbors mixed with ants and squeaky floors. If you can, do yourself a favor and get the top floor. more

I am living at these apartments right now. I have been there a year tomorrow. And for a place that is for yourself or a small family starting out this is a great place. the price for my place is great. I lived in a two bedroom with my in laws and then moved into a one bedroom and they were so helpful. I have hard wood floors and every problem i have they fix right away. I know my landlords have been there just as long as I have. I was her first move in. IT is a wonderful place and it is so quiet and close to down town and walking distance to so much! The only issue i have is parking. but other then that there isnt anything that would not happen anywhere else. The keep it really clean! I really love it there. My Neighbors are so friendly * not a creepy way * and they are so understanding! I really do recommend this place if you have a tight budget and you like friendly quiet neighbors! more

I don't understand where the other user is coming from. My family of three lived in a 2 bedroom apartment there for a year and a half. The only reason we moved was because of my job. The apartment was smaller than we had wished, but the rent was a good price and we could walk downtown. I never saw a cockroach-yuck! We did have the little sugar ants. I just wiped my cabinets off with vinegar and was good for the day. I very seldom heard my neighbors, and the woman who lived under us said she very seldom heard us--even our son's running up and down the hall! We played in the pool often. A friend of mine lives there now, and she has wood floors! It was very quiet and you can't beat walking home from the bars! LOL. I would definitely live there again. Pros: Quiet, pool, downtown location Cons: no washer and dryer hookups in the apartment more

I have seen that they are fixing these apartments up,Good luck they need it! Pros: Location,roomy apartments,lots of storage Cons: pests,mold,needs updating more
