Went to celebrate a birthday because this restaurant had been recommended to me by a friend. I was very unimpressed! We had a reservation and were seated right away, however, after that our experience went downhill. It was at least 15-20 minutes after being seated that we were finally greeted and our drink orders were taken (they were far from busy - the restaurant was hardly full). Rather than grated parmesan, my salad had the parmesan granules out of the plastic shaker and our $30 filet looked like something you could get at a casual dining restaurant for $15. The food and service most definitely was not on par with the price. We were very disappointed and we were apparently not the only ones, another disgruntled table got up and walked out as we were leaving. This most definitely was a first and last visit to The Parker House.
Cons: VERY slow service, mediocre food
