Wish there was a way to rate less than 1 star, because that is what tgis particular business deserves. The customer service was horrifying. The woman helping me was so rude! When I glanced at the price of an $850 frame, I said..'wow thats a little steep!'...the woman said, 'you're obviously in the wrong place honey.' Really?! It was like a scene out of Pretty Woman. And when I said I should put my hair down to see how the glasses looked, she said, 'I dont care about your hair.' And she walked away. Again, really?! \r Did I miss something? Is customer service suppose to be like this? Especially in a place where one spends about $500 on a pair of glasses. \r You could tell the other workers were ashamed of this woman, and wanted to help me, but Im assuming she was a manager because they wouldnt help me or give me advice. \r Horrible service. Rude women. Distasteful atmosphere. \r Avoid this place unless you like being treated like garbage. \r (look at the other reviews-notice a trend?) more

My whole family loves Park Opticians at Fairmount Circle. We are delighted not to have to drive half way to Pittsburgh to find fabulous service and selections. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about different kinds of prescriptions and what will maximize vision for many kinds of eyes and expectations. The selection of frames is extraordinary, almost like a museum of fashion to browse through. more

I wish there was a way to give this place zero or negative stars. Most times I have gone in there for a simple repair I have had the misfortune of being taken care of by one of the female owners. Her attitude is unbelievably unprofessional and she seems to always be angry at the world. After my most recent encounter with her she suggested I should shop else where. Believe me I will, they do not deserve anyone's business with the way you get treated. What ever happened to customer service. more

Park Opticians worked magic with my coke bottle prescription. Not only did they find me the perfect frame, but they also found me the thinnest and lightest lenses available. The staff is super knowledgeable- they pulled out 4 frames and all of them were perfect. I had been to 2 other opticial stores and Park was/is in a league of their own. My prescription is sooo strong that it's really hard not to end up looking like an ugly, bug eyed fish. I love my new glasses; they are incredibly flattering and I will never go to any optician other than Park ever again. Thank You Park!!! more

Park Opticians was the third place I tried to get a pair of glasses that did not make me look like an ugly bug eyed fish!!! The salesperson pulled out exactly 4 frames and all of them were perfect. OK, so I did not go for the ones for $420, but the ones for $180 were just as nice. Then they proceeded to find the perfect THIN and lightweight lenses for my coke bottle presecription and I am delighted!!!The staff is super knowledgeable and Park has access to a lense laboratory that none of the chain stores even seem to know about. Unfortunately, Park did not honor my prescription plan, but they did offer me a 20% discount. more

I've bought many cool pairs of glasses at Park. the service & care has always been exceptional. They don't mind when I bring my dog with me (a sure sign of good people). They have a very large selection of cool glasses. I unhesitatingly recommend them. more

Previous descriptions about the staff of Park Opticians staff being rude and disrespectful are absolutely correct. My experience was shocking. I requested the model number of a frame. The customer service worker refused, saying they don't give such information out. I protested, sayihg that I have never heard of an optical store refusing to give out a frame model number. Then a second worker ran up to me, put her face within an inch of mine, and said ""Well you have now."" And then she shoved me. When I said I would report them to the Better Business Bureau, Ms. Congeniality said ""Oh yeah, big threat!"" Can you imagine? Shoving and screaming at a customer for requesting a basic piece of information! The workers at Park Opticians are rude, haughty, unprofessional and, in my case, nearly violent. Tell all your friends: Avoid Park Opticians at all costs! Pros: Wide selection of quality frames Cons: Clerk actually pushed me! more
