I started out living at the Park at Quail Creek from 1998 to 2001. It's now 2005, and I've finally made it back to the Park! (yay)
This place is the friendliest little Oasis in North Austin. When I moved back, I had no less than five neighbors over to welcome me. And more that I'd known from my previous stay there who dropped in over the first month to welcome me back!
The biggest drawback to this place is that it's located in ""the Hood"" near the HEB of the Damned on N. Lamar. But, once in the park, the lush grounds are just beautiful. It backs up onto a creek, and has tennis courts and a swimming pool.
Buildings are in excellent repair, grounds are gorgeous, great management staff, friendly neighbors, pets welcome, close to everthing AND the units are relatively inexpensive
Pros: Beautiful Grounds, Inexpensive, Friendly
Cons: In the Hood, Road Work at Entrance, High HOA Fees
