Genuine People Excellent Food 11/25/2005

My brother and I had the best steak we have had in years here last week! I love the open kitchen. Great food and nice beer choices. We checked our email on my laptop with since it has wireless internet (a little strange there are no cell phones allowed though). Adrift is the sort of place for customers that want real people to serve them. I consider the service there quite good but only if I am prepared to deal with an actual person not an idiot robot with a forced speel trying to ""up sell"". As for the previous reviewer, you might want to stick with fake and corporate places to be happy I guess. Pros: Hip Place, Atmosphere, Adventurous Cons: No cell phones more

Very disappointed! 7/30/2005

I was excited to try this restaurant because they had an extensive menu. I came for lunch one afternoon and was seated promptly, got drink, menu, order taken, etc. I waited 30-45 minutes for my food (chicken black bean quesadilla)and there were only 5 people in the restaurant. When I was ready for my check, I waited for another 10-15 while the waitress was chatting with other customers. And then she comes and tells me that I can pay out front. She had another worker take my money and she wasn't even busy. I didn't leave any tip for her. Definitely not got going back again! Pros: good menu Cons: rude staff, parking more
