We've stayed at Paris Las Vegas many times. It is our favorite hotel/resort to stay at. The theme is really fun, and they have the best bakeries (obviously!), and buffets. They ha...

Nice Carribian Fusion 11/2/2006

Really nice island fusion in an atmosphere that is probably a little more elagant than you would think. The jerked pork, though not authentic, is really really nice, well seasoned, tender, flavorful. The mojetos rock the house. Pros: Great Island Fusion between Balleys and Paris Cons: Not cheap more

Wonderful Service 7/1/2006

My wife had spoken to the manager in her capacity as banker, perhaps once or twice. Arriving unannounced, we we're treated like royalty by female manager and wait staff. Ordering based on manager's recommendation, our food was delicious. I hope to return soon and often. Pros: Service, Ambiance Cons: None more

  • The Scene
Go ahead and eat with your fingers at this casual yet upscale tropical spot. Ruffled gold curtains and floor-length drapes invite intimacy in the warm, dimly lit, multitiered room. On weekends, enjoy live jazz. Friendly, informative waitstaff and managers continuously cruise the floor attending to diners' needs with professional flair.

    The Food
Chef Cindy Hutson's "Cuisine of the Sun" creations are packed with citrus flavors and moderately spiced. Start with steamed Prince Edward Island mussels and ask for plenty of bread--you'll want to soak up every drop of the Jamaican thyme and Red Stripe beer broth. West Indian crab cakes are bountiful, and Hutson's blend of several curries won't leave you reaching for water. Drowning in guava-Bacardi rum sauce, the 16-ounce jerked pork chop is huge, satisfying and messy. Moist mahi mahi tenderloin hints of orange flavor and sweet plantain mash beats potatoes. Wrap up your fruit-filled experience with double chocolate raspberry mousse.
